You are pathetic.

This thread was meant to share information about the incident last night, not to bash police. Besides, the Glasgow PD is competelely off-topic, as this entire incident took place outside their jurisdiction.

Then again, this is Topix...so any old illiterate, self-absorbed jackass can post their venom. If that's what it takes for you to feel better about yourself, have at it.

I found this on WCLU.com

A high speed pursuit Saturday night resulted in two separate accidents, two injuries and I-65 being closed for 5 hours . It all started when KSP Tpr. Joe Gregory attempted to stop a motorcyclist that was northbound on I-65 for a speeding violation.
After further investigation, it was discovered the motorcycle was listed as stolen by the Nashville Metro Police Department. The motorcyclist refused to stop and continued north on I-65. During which time other Kentucky State Police troopers joined in the pursuit at various locations on I-65. Near the 38 mile marker, a motorist slowed dramatically in his lane of travel and was struck in the rear by another KSP trooper, Tpr. John Holbrook. Tpr. Holbrook was injured and flown to University of Louisville Hospital by Air Methods where he was treated and released.
The operator of the vehicle in the first accident, Noah Hensley III, and passenger, Dara Burks, were transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Sampson Hospital in
Glasgow for precautionary measures where they were examined and released.

Meanwhile as the pursuit of the violator continued north on I-65, The motorcycle was weaving in and out of traffic, and struck the rear of a KSP vehicle being operated by Tpr. Jeremy Smith. The operator of the motorcycle, identified as Wallace F. Peterson III of Madison , TN , was flown to University of Louisville Hospital where he was admitted. As of Sunday, Peterson was listed in critical condition. Trooper Smith was uninjured in the second accident.

Other agencies involved in this incident were Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Medical Center EMS and Barren-Metcalfe EMS. I-65 was closed from 9 pm Saturday night until about 1:45 Sunday morning.

I had sent the day at the Opry Mills Mall, stopped in Bowling Green to drop my daughter off and a cop turned onto I-65 right behind me, I cruised up to 75 mph and was running out by myself in the middle lane and looked in the rearview and saw a motorcycle closing in fast, he passed me in the left hand lane and four cops were about 3 miles behind him, I didn't think they would ever be able to catch him, he was doing 140 - 160. It ended about 4 miles up, I was the fourth car back in line to stop where the state trooper wrecked. They did air lift him out according to an officer, his motor was pretty much in the front seat, the other car was ambulanced out, it didn't look to bad. about a mile or so up the road the bike was under the guard rail and the motorcyclist was already gone, to the hospital or morgue. I don't have a problem with people driving fast for a short distance for fun but they need to think of others that are on the road with them. This guy had NO regard for anyone else that was on the road last night. I had two 7 year olds in the car with me, he could have killed us all. So instead of spending the night in jail or getting a ticket for speeding, he chose to endanger others and put his own life on the line WHAT AN IDIOT!!!!! he deserved what he got, he was also wearing a backpack, probably full of drugs.
I counted 15 cop cars, 2 ambulances, 1 helicopter, several unmarked cars and two firetrucks. I was in line for 1 hour 40 minutes. If the cops had not chased this idiot he probably would have killed innocent drivers, then those who criticize them for doing their job would have bitched because the cops didn't do anything to prevent it. their profession is damned if they do and damned if they don't. As far as some bad cops, there sure are, but every where you look there are people who take advantage of the system and their jobs, I for one am glad that there are some good cops out there to save us from ass holes like this. I hate that the guy lost his life but he did it to himself, he made that choice, the only person that I feel sorry for on his part is his poor family that will have to live with his stupidty for the rest of their lives and the loss of a brother, son and cousin. My heart does go out to them and also to the state tropper and his family and the innocent people that got caught up in this mess that was just going home.
Is that the best you got you little chicken shit bitch!!

You got that right.

Back in the city, I was picking up a car with my tow truck one day in an expensive neioghborhood, which was just across the highway from a crack slum.

A pig was hiding on a side street, and in the time I was there, he nailed 4 people for making rolling stops at a 4-way stop sign- in nice cars, wearing suits and ties- you know, the ones who pose no threat to himself, and who pay their fines and say "Thanks officer" when the pig hands them the ticket.

Meanwhile, just a few blocks across the highway he could have been stopping robberis and rapes and all the other sordid stuff that goes on in the slum.......but there's no money in that, and a jig might say "boo!" to the pig- so instead, the pigs ignores what's left of his alcohol-soaked conscience, and nasils the good people for doing nothoing- giving them a $150 ticket...making their insurance go up, etc.

I pray every night that these evil oppressor's deeds return ten-fold upon their own heads and upon the heads of their posterity.(And before anyone rips me for this, read the Psalms- David prayed the same thing against the wicked and corrupt!)

I'll agree that some police are like that but you failed to mention that most are not like that. If the majority of cops were like that the streets would be so dangerous none of us would ever leave the house. We would be robbed and raped and murdered as soon as we walked to our cars because the crooks would know that the cops wont mess with them and choose to instead give tickets to hard working citizens just to make money.

You are nothing but a chicken shit son of a bitch hiding behind your little cheapo computer. Give us your reall name...... or better yet, I'll just let him get your isp address and go from there. You got this shit started and now let's see if you are man enough to finish it.

What a tard motorcyclist. There's no reason to endanger others like that on public streets. For much much less money than it takes for tickets, lawyers, doctors, etc., he could have easily purchased a track day or two and rode his bike as fast as he could ever possibly want in a MUCH safer environment. Heck, instead of getting a ticket for going fast, he would have been given cheers.

These posers I see every day on sportbikes here are embarrassing with their shorts, flops, and helmet - strapped to the side of their bikes. Get some leathers, go to a track, and prepare to be humbled by people who know what fast REALLY means.

Hopefully some of these ^ types of kids will learn that there are alternatives to using the streets as their own personal racecourse. Remember guys - there's no checkered flag at the end of the road.

First off, while his pay may stay the same, the money he causes to be taken in does benefit the state...the state whom he works for and who tells the pig what to do.

What do you call a man who sits in a nice suburban neighborhood, writing tickets for nothing, to nice people in suits and ties.....just because he is commanded to, while he knows he could be across the highway nailing real criminals and stopping people with warrants, and thus stopping real crime?

I call him a mercenary pig.

(And those of you who believe that cops somehow stop crime are deluding yourselves. The senario I described above proves that they are not interested in stopping real crime. No cop ever stopped a crime. All they do is come after the crime has been commited. 95% of their time is occupied with matters that are not real crimes- like writing tickets for minor traffic violations; domestic disturbances, drug offenses and other nonsense).

Oh, and about writing tickets not affecting their pay- watch this:

Police Officer Gives Himself $21,000 Raise Using Stop-Sign Tickets
http://blog.motorists.org/police-officer-rais...

Yes, it is actually PROFITABLE for them to write unjust tickets to innocent people!

Next, go to youtube and search "Police brutality" and "taser". You will see HUNDREDS of cases of cops tasering old ladies; beating people who are handcuffed; Assaulting innocent people (Here's a video of a cop assaulting an innocent bicyclist- knocking him off his bicycle for no reason....asnd then LYING and trying to say that the bicyclist assaulted him...and the scary thing is, that other cops who were present also lied and backed him up!!! If this had not been caught on video, the poor victim would be in trouble!!!:
)

And these are just a fraction of cases that are caught on video!

A cop can not make it through one day at work without lying! They are mercenary bastards who sell their soul for a paycheck, doing what they are commanded, which they know is often wrong- not to mention what they do on their own.

Many people are not aware of these things because their only source of information is mass media news- which is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the state, and which portrays the stae as benevolent, and tries to make you believe that the state is all that is protecting you from your fellow citizens, whom it portrays as all crooks. I've worked on the streets of the big city, and I've seen what really goes on, first hand. I have relatioves who are pigs, and I even knew a guy who roomed with the pig who was involved in the Abner Luima abuse case (Where they sdhoved a broom handle up a schvatze's butt).

Cop are rabble- much like Hitler's SS officers- They are little men who are given authority, and do what they are commanded to do, without conscience (Which is why most of them are alcoholics or pill-heads, to erase and ease their consciences)

This country was founded on the ideal of citizens being able to protect themselves and acting in unison to effect justice through courts. A police state is the antithesis of that- and the cops are a tool used to actually prevent us from doing that.

Watch the videos I posted above. Was the guy on the bicycle who got body slammed breaking the law? Were the people who were issued tickets for offenses they didn't commit so the cop could get overtime pay breaking the law?

You are very naive- "The policeman is our friend; If we don't break the law we have nothing to worry about...". The real world does not work that way.

Here's another one for you: http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Excop_Barry_Coo...

This goes on in every department- cops lie to obtain search warrants. There have been many cases of completely innocent people and/or their pets being killed because of this!

Wake up!!!

We are living in Nazi Germany, and these cops are the SS officers and Brownshirts!
