this is no rumor, i know this for a fact. greg had tapes hid and told his friends if something should happen to him to get them. they were of his wife and a glasgow man having an affair and wanting him out of the way. that was handled by warren county since he lived in smiths grove.
I heard about the tapes too ...wonder what ever happenedto them???

So true!!!!! Solving the case stops the cash flow into thier pockets.

I am a concerned citizen. Something is seriously wrong with our Justice System in Glasgow. Why isn't the FBI involved in the murders that have taken place here? Where is the nearest FBI quarters?

imo, a lot of the problem starts with the prosecution. How many of these unsolved murders have taken place since she has been in office? I think if things change in that office first, there would be no need to contact FBI, unless they are investigating that office. I don't think there is enough competence there to initiate and oversee effective investigations and go above and beyond to prosecute the guilty. The hardest I've ever seen her work was in the Payne trial, she busted her bottome trying to prosecute in that case. She was at her best then and look at that outcome. Even at her best she cannot produce results.

I moved out of Glasgow not long after no indictements were returned in my brother's case. I refused to live in Karen County knowing that if my family and I were victims AGAIN, we would have no one fighting for our rights AGAIN.

I also read not so long ago that her office finally appointed a victim advocate. It also said that up until this appointment, Karen was the advocate herself. That's hillarious!!!! During our ordeal, she never called my family, she never met with my family, she never even opened the KSP investigation file until September, three months after my brother's death and two weeks before she presented it to the Grand Jury. My mother lost her child, Karen was supposed to represent my family and she never even called my mother. My mom couldn't even pick her out of a group of three people. They never even met until the Grand Jury hearing.

The problem is not the entire Justice System as a whole, it starts with the incompetent ones who give it a bad name.

BJO if we all keep working together and keep pressing forward we can get justice for all the murders here in Barren County and surrounding areas. It's only if people will come forward.....find out whose crooked and who isn't and find ways to get around the brick wall or over it.I have a story close to yours.A very dear loved one grieved to death due to the injustice that happened to them. The people of this county are scared to come forward and do anything cause of so many they can't trust.Just pray and pray...One day it will be answered I'm almost positive. My prayers are with you and your family.Remember Keep your faith.Thats one thing no one can take from you.

RIP, I think I meant to post this on this thread but posted on the other one, so here it is incase you didn't read it on the flip side.

A lot of people dont think its possible to grieve to death. It's not uncommon for older people who have been together for many, many years to pass away within months of each other. Like Johnny & June Carter Cash. But its not just older people, it can happen to anyone who loses the love, support and the physical presence of another. My dad died 11 months after my brother. He wasn't in the greatest health to start with but he was only 51 and his heart couldn't take it.

I'm sorry for everyone on here who has lost someone and not gotten answers or justice. Without answers a piece of you will always be missing. It was easier to deal with my fathers death because I knew when, how, why he died and that God took him. In my brothers case, I dont have those answers. Other people were playing God when they took his life, they weren't convicted and I have to walk around in this world with not only a piece of me missing but also with the constant fear of running into one of them. I don't know what I would do or say. My husband and I have a deal that if we are out in public with the children and I see one of them, he is to take the children and get as far away from me as possible because of the uncertainty of how I will act. I would hope that I act like a Christian but I cant promise that I would. He also knows that if he cant find me after about 30 minutes, try the jail first :)

One of the shows advertise on tv that there is no such thing as a perfect murder. They take cases and dig and dig until they find out what happened. I'm sure they would love to investigate the unsolved murders in Barren County especially because there are so many unsolved murder cases for such a small town. The murder of Joe Nunn could probably be solved within a few weeks time with the right people investigating. Doesn't matter how far you move away they will find you. Even without the evidence that magically disappeared in Joes case. With KD investigating and prosecuting...consider it a lost cause.

There's a lot of political corruptness in Karen County. This is a direct quote from the KSP report in my brother's case. It is from one of the persons of interest, this is what the police wrote in the report regarding what was said when they contacted him to set up an interview. "A 'prominent judge' called him and gave him three pieces of advice; dont talk to the police, do not take a polygraph and do not go to the police station or participate in this investigation". Seriously, is that advice you give an innocent person? And you ask why was this local judge getting involved? Because his nephew was also a person of interest.
