Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them, if there good honest people and if the vehicles they have are reliable.

Sounds like a Mexican junk car lot to me. Run the vin# before you buy.

Since most used cars don't come with a guarantee, what exactly are you asking? Have any used vehicle you are considering purchasing thoroughly checked-out by a trusted competent mechanic BEFORE purchase, because whether a car lot is honest/dishonest; good or bad, once you buy it, it is yours, and the repairs are on you.

Most cars that these used-car lots buy are second or third-tier cars. Cars that the stealerships don't want because of major or numerous flaws.

Also, since these lots have to cover overhead and make a profit, you could do so much better to save up some cash, and buy from a private party. You'll pay a lot less, and get a lot more.

Many used cars have problems. Oftentimes, they are not readily apparent until you've driven the car for some time- or they don't develop immediately- so it is up to you to know exactly what you are buying, because even the most honest lot (if you can find one) is not going to guarantee your purchase as if it were a new car.

Husband, did you really need to ask that on Topix? Either buy from a legitimate dealer with local history and reputation or buy from an individual. If someone posted about my business you'd not like it. Just saying. ;)

I believe a person needs to take your time looking for a used car. Ask around as to whether anyone knows where you might find a good used one. Most people get rid of their cars, because they are causing them too many problems. You are just taking on someone else's headache. Find out where you might find one that has been totally checked out. Doesn't Honda have a place somewhere?

Stay away from that lot, find a better bargain and a more reputable dealer. A lot of the best deals and cars are bought from individuals.
