This is a serious question, nothing kinky.
I am looking for a massage therapist in Glasgow who is good at deep tissue. I have been to 2 different ones and their deep tissue massage is quite wimpy. Anyone have recommendations for someone? Another thread on here mentions someone at Vanity but I called and she isn't there now. |

T_ville DR>CHRISM hes great

Bret Underwood, but I'm not sure if he's still a massage therapist. He works at Extremes now as a trainer. He's the only one that I found that actually knew what deep tissue massage is. Like you said, the others are wimpy. |

Janice at Vanity will be coming back shortly, she is great

Mary Christenson used to have a business of her own doing massages. She is really good at her job. If you can find out where she's working now, then you will be able to get a really good massage therapist.

Thanks to everyone for your posts.
Post #2: Thanks but I am looking for someone in Glasgow Post #3: I see Brett listed on Extreme's website so I will call and check out prices Post #4: I left message at Vanity over a month ago to call me when they have a massage therapist but have not heard back from them. I want a massage next week if possible and Vanity couldn't tell me when their person would be back. Post #5: Mary is at Serenity. I have heard great things about her but Serenity's prices are higher than other places. I may have to suck it up if I can't find anyone else. |

Donna at Platinum is good.

Whitney at serenity is amazing. She does really good deep tissue!! She's also very very nice.

Mary is not very good with deep tissue massage. I went to her once and was very disappointed. |
|
Sorry but I have to disagree. I went to her for deep tissue and she does not go deep enough for my preference. Granted all massages feel wonderful but I am in a job where I am stressed and strained and I need my muscles kneaded deeply. |

Find a male masseuse- you need someone with strong hands.

Many years ago I had a female massage therapist who I would put up against any man. She was wonderful. Her husband was also a massage therapist but she was much better for deep tissue. Unfortunately she and her husband relocated to another area. I have one recommendation on here for a man and I will call him next week. Do you know any others here? |

You would be super happy with Whitney at Serenity...Mary Christensen also works there now.

Diane Light would be the best in town, she has her own office inside of Dr Pelhams. Great!! Columbia Ave. |

|
Judged: 1 I have been to Diane too. She's a great massage therapist, but not deep tissue. I specifically asked for deep tissue, but it didn't feel any different from a regular massage. |

Unless people are familiar with the different types of massage therapy and have experienced all the different types, I find the average man/woman on the street doesn't know what deep tissue massage is.
Here is a clue: Deep tissue massage HURTS. Most people are familiar with Swedish massage with is the soothing feel good kind. I have been to a fewl massage therapists in Glasgow and I find the best one is Janice at Vanity. None of the others I went to even come close to deep tissue and probably shouldn't even be advertising that they do deep tissue to be honest. |

i have been to all of the above listed. Mary C is the best of them all. If you want deep tissue tell her

I'm not familiar with your neck of the woods. But as a deep tissue specialist, here are my recommendations on how to find the best therapist for your needs.
