they advertised being open on Sunday, went there today excited about having another choice on Sundays. But was very disappointed to find that in fact they were not open to public only for a wedding party. Now, I do not know about anyone else but to advertise that you are open, then not be is decietful. If they are only open for large partys on Sunday that is what the advertisement should say! I for one do not plan on going back...never know if they will be open or not.

Give them a break....they are a new buisness...you should let them know in person of your concerns.

New restaurant in town, let's try to get rid of it before it even has a chance to make it.

I won't go down there then if they start that Karaoke crap down there. Glasgow's tired of karaoke and the loud music. NO Karaoke. The last time they had barbecue down there the former owners screwed everyone. Did not even bother telling the customers they were closing.

A restaurant cannot control when large, unexpected groups arrive. Sounds like you are simply ticked off because there wasn't a table empty when you got there. Same thing could have happened at any good restaurant. There are often wait times for seating at many local popular restaurants. It happens so often that some of them hand out 'buzzers' to alert you when there is a table ready for you. And sometimes that wait can be lengthy at the most popular places to eat. Don't knock the restaurant for something they cannot control. Other people who said they were not part of a 'wedding party' ate there Sunday before 2:30. They just happened to arrive before the big group got there.
BTW, the bbq is great, the catfish is outstanding.

There was a sign at the front door saying "CLOSED for wedding party from 12:30 to 2:30" looks preplanned to me!

after cooking beef brisket for over 10 hours why would you reheat it in the microwave? when you reheat it in the microwave it turns the beef all tough & chewy & full of grease. hot potato salad awful, vinegar slaw just what is that stuff? thank you for a terrible dining experience will not be back!

tried it

We tried it last weekend and I wasn't as impressed with it as I wanted to be. The meat was decent, I ordered a shoulder plate. The shoulder was seasoned well and had a good taste but was paper thin. The potato salad was awful. I ordered the kind with mustard and it tasted just like store bought stuff with no taste. Also order mayo slaw that I couldn't tell it had any mayo in but did have vinegar. All and all the meat was okay but the sides were awful. The biggest disapointment was the hot/hot sauce. It tasted like they took bbq sauce and added a bunch of tobasco sauce. Tobasco just kills the taste of everything else and isn't hot either. Might give it another try, but another meal like that one and it will be my last from their.

Better tell them to practice what they advertise or they won't be open for long.
