I wouldn't give Melissa Walton Shirley's businesses a dime on a cold day in hell. The woman made the biggest ass of herself during the moist vote and then with the smoking ban in businesses. If my heart ever starts acting up, by God, I'll go elsewhere, that woman will never see a dime form me or my family.
What'd she do?

The massage was where I had a bad experience. She just didn't know what she was doing. Hubby bought me a certificate for there, I wasted $60 of it on a half-a**ed massage and ended up losing the other $40 because they were so rude to me when I returned to see if I could purchase products with the remaining balance. Even with gas as high as it is, I would definitely drive to Bowling Green before I would go back to Serenity for a massage.
You sound like a whinner to me and the type of person who wants something for nothing. Grow up!!!

I've had two hair dressers at Serenity; one ruined my hair and I had to have it fixed at Vanity (which didn't do that great of a job either) and then there's Kandice. She is the absolute GREATEST.

I'm not from here and I wish I could get my hair cut by my regular stylist more often, but Kandice is a wonderful alternative. She is very creative and will listen to whatever you want. She makes sure it is how you want your hair before you leave - you have to leave happy!

And if you don't know what you're wanting before you walk in there, and are willing to let her take over, she will do an excellent job with a freestyling haircut. She is very creative and fun. There have been several times when I just want something different, and she's always come through!

Just ask for Kandice...and ignore everyone else. You're not there for chit chat anyway, you're there for an awesome hair cut!!

I love Kandice. She does great highlights. The first time I went to here was to fix a VERY BAD cut. She is great!

I love Serenity....I go to Beverly Meredith....she used to work for Regina Webb. She is very nice and takes the time to listen. If you are not happy, she fixes it. I like Kandice too. She has done my hair before.

I used to go to Dena, but you never know what she is going to charge you for highlights. My hair length stays the time she charged me $90 for very few highlights, then the next time it was $65....another reason I do not go back to her is because of Lauren....she is not friendly and she stares you down...I do not have a personal issue with Dena, just was not happy with how she charges.

That would be Studio 23. Amanda Settles that works there always cuts my family's hair. She used to be at Custom Cutts, when she switched to Studio 23, we did as well.

I love Serenity! Marla (does the massages) is awesome. Also love Kandice, she cuts my hair. I splurged once and got a facial by Katie, and I have never been so relaxed in my life. I would recommend it to anyone. The prices are higher than a barber shop, but not any more than should be expected. Great prices for the service, I think.
I agree.
