WalMart Super Center In Glasgow, KY a Joke!
My low tire indicator was displaying and I went to WalMart tire center to have it checked out.
The little hut that is usually used to check your car in was closed, so I parked and went inside the store to get the car checked out and was told to go back outside and park in front of the last bay to get checked in! WTF.
It was 26 degrees out and I went back outside and had to brave the cold get my car drive down to the last bay door and wait for the girl who checks the cars in; input my information in her handheld computer.
She than told me to leave my keys in the car! This is BullS*** as I had merchandise in the back of the car.
As I walked back into the store I saw several other cars with the keys just hanging in the drivers door lock.
What kind of security is this? Who is training these people?
I went about my shopping and heard my name paged to come to the auto department 3 times after about 40 minutes so I figured the car had a bigger problem than just the crappy Walmart tire that was low.
I went to the tire department and some redneck kid comes out and tells me I need two new front tires as they are peeling!
I asked if he fix the tire ; he told me he could not find a low tire.
I told him NO WAY as far as buying new tires as the car only have 23K miles on it.
He told me he'd get my car out, so I checked out and was told to go get my car.
So I push the shopping cart out to the garage bay where the redneck was backing the car out of the garage when the tire cover popped off.
He stopped and went to get a tool to put it back on.
While he was feverishly attempting to put the wheel cover back on I inspected the front tires and then asked him to show me the peeling, he ignored me! WTF.
He finally got the wheel cover on and I hopped into the car and first thing I see is the "Low Tire Light" on.
So I went to a different tire store and had it checked out; and it turned out to be the left rear tire was low with 24 # of air in it.
I looked at the Wal-Mart bill and it showed that the mechanic reported that all the tires had 32# of air in them; this was an out right lie.
The new tire store mechanic put air in the Wal-Mart tire which is on the left rear of the car and the "Low Tire Light" went out.
The Wal-Mart Tire was purchased 6 months ago and I paid extra for road hazard .
But Walmart failed miserably.
The new tire store mechanic inspected the front tires and told me they were fine and safe and I could get another 12K mile of use out of them.
I called the Glasgow, KY, Walmart Store (#0711) Manager Mark Smith" when I got home and told him I was Not happy with the service I received and about the keys being left in the cars and about having to go to another place to get done what his Incompetent service personal should have but failed to do.
This Manager then said what do you want me to do about it?
I told him train your personal. Do you train them to lied to customers like I was lied to and the mechanic tried to sell me tires I didn't need, did not fix the tire which was recently purchased from Walmart etc.
I told him the guy that worked on my car was incompetent, that I was angry that they left keys in cars, did not fix the defective tire or honor the road hazard warranty; and this Manager Mark Smith told me he would not stand for me to put down his associates.
Am I missing something here?
The manager defends his associates and ignores a ligament customer complaint.
He did not take responsible for the lack of security and the policy of leaving customers keys in there unlocked cars!
Had nothing to say about his associate lying and not doing his job.
I hung up on him as I see he is also incompetent and is clueless as to the what is going on in his store.
Am I angry? You bet!
Pass this along and DO NOT BUY TIRES from Walmart!

Carla is the store manager-Mark Smith is a want to be. He is suppose to be an assistant but he doesn't know how to take care of anything. The only way the problem will be handled is to call corporate at 1-800-walmart & that is exactly what needs to be done!

walmart should designate one day a month for the welfare scum to cash in for their handouts. this would allow the store to sterilize everything so the working folks wouldn't catch any disease from those filthy bastards. better yet, the 0 gubment should build grocery stores strictly for these lazyassed wastes' of life to shop so the normal, non-freeloading taxpayers don't have to deal with their smell and ignorance.

Better yet, stop all the freaking welfare and let 'em starve/earn their own keep/stop making babies.

You know, that store sucks. The security girl over there, anorexic looking things was seen checking in a hotel with her boss, the main security guy for WalMart in central Kentucky. He has a wife & she is married with children. I bet they've been sleeping together behind their spouses backs for God only knows how long.

OK, let me tell you what I know. I am retired now but use to drive for a living and put about 100,000 miles on my vehicle each year. I started buying my tires from Sam's (Michelins), and was always having trouble keeping my vehicle in alignment. One day when I was there waiting in their waiting area for something else, I started talking to a truck driver that was there for something else too. He asked me how long I had been buying my tires form Sam's and I told him (several years). He asked me if I was having a problem with my car's alignment and I had been. He told me that Sam's sells seconds and he said that Walmart probably does too. You can't see anything wrong with the tires but they will have places on them that makes it feel like your car is out of alignment when you get up to about 65 or so. He told me to go to Costco and get my tires and my alignment problems would be solved because he told me Costco doesn't sell seconds. Since the price was only slightly higher at Costco, that is where I went the next time I needed tires and sure enough, I could tell the difference the first day. Before I quit buying my tires at Sam's, I had a bubble come out on the sidewall of one of my tires that was only a few weeks old. I had to stop at another tire store and replace it since I wasn't near a Sam's. The people at the tire store told me they had never seen a Michelin tire do that before. So, after the truck driver told me what he did, it all made sense.

I had taken my car to the Bowling Green Walmart, by the mall to get my oil change. They had it back there for an hour and half. Charged me for it, and I went on my way. A month or so went by and my engine light came on, and my motor sounded like it was missing gears, so I checked my oil and it was all burnt up and under the min. Line! They probably didn't even change it!

You didn't check your oil level or smell something during that month? Why not change it yourself? I'm a woman and I do it myself. At least I know I can trust my own work.

This Glasgow Walmart is the most poorly managed; poorly stocked; most messed-up Walmart store I have ever seen!

And I second what "Knows" says. They may not be seconds....but a lot of products, like TVs, appliances, tires, etc at Walmart are of lower quality than the same brand and model at any other store, because they actually make a different class of item to be sold cheaply at stores like Walmart. Same thing with stores like Lowes and Home Depot. If you buy a John Deere mower at Home Depot....it's not the same as the one you get from a Deere dealer.....ditto Makita and DeWalt tools, etc.

I'm a woman also, and I shouldn't have to check it within a month of getting it done. I'm glad you change your own oil, but I do not know how. No I did not smell anything different in my car.
