If you want a page for updates only, do it on facebook. That way the administrator can delete anything unrelated to updates. If you try this on topix, it won't work. Sorry, I understand your position but you can't control an open forum where you do not have the capability to delete.

Clementine's comment is sad, but true.
Comment #3 is a typical topix comment.
Too many people like that person on here.
I would like to hear from Spencer too.
Educate

Personally I think the friends and family should be trying to educate our younger generation on the dangers of what made this happen, instead of hiding the real facts to protect themselves and their son!
Whats done is done. Fact.
Wouldn't caring people want to educate others to the dangers, so that no other family or innocent person has to go through this?!?
Help Others

It seems like the truth came out on the other post finally. I also think that if family and friends want to do something to help others, they should be warning about the dangers of underage drinking and binge drinking; not trying to hide the truth.

She could probably face manslaughter charges.

Someone should be held accountible! Specielly the dealer and the host! those that knew what was going on those that are adults should be charged some way. They will all pay in the end one way or the other

You guys are pathetic! I certainly hope you never experience what this family is experiencing and I certainly hope you never end up on topix about it if you do!

Like it or not, someone is going to be held responsible for this. If the Crews family doesn't ask law enforcement to start an investigation, the state probably will.

Shouldn't you be supervising your own party right about now? Horse Cave is only but a stones throw from Cave City. Just saying!

It's a legal fact that a 18 year old is not mentally or emotionally capable of making decisions regarding alcohol. Seems to me 2nd degree murder or manslaughter charges are in order.

I know 50 year olds who are not mentally or emotionally capable of making decisions regarding alcohol either. I also know 18 year olds who go to war for us on foreign soil. That said, the legal drinking age in Ky is 21 so someone can be charged with providing alcohol to him regardless of how mature he was mentally and emotionally. This is a sad case all the way around and there is going to be a lot of guilt among those at the party.
