I am his ex-wife and yes they did find him dead. he was murdered last night at the Ramada. He had an altercation with someone at the bar and they followed him to his room and beat him to death. I am so devastated. Please everyone say a prayer for him and his family.

they got that piece of shit that killed thomas ward. it was troy rupe. I hope they give him the death sentence! Thomas did'nt deserve this. Thomas was a good man. What in the world makes people do this? Thomas was a little guy. This man is three times Thomas size! Why would he want to kill him? He needs to be killed like he killed Thomas! we're to easy on crime in this country!

That is what I say. So they got him? I knew that he had been identified but I didn't know if they had picked him up or not. I cannot believe this has happened to him.

I dont know if you remember me or not but you and Tommas gave me a dog a long time ago, she was half rat terrier and mix with something else. You remember Tommas and you brought her to me in a box you all said she was puppy pad trained and when Tommas gave her to me he said he wanted a bigger dog I think he said you bought her for him from your dad but he said he needed a bigger dog ( like a mans dog) and then we all just laughed about it but I still have that little dog and I would not take anything for her infact I think you all had named her Cammie well I kept that name for her and as I said I still have her and she is doing great because I remember the day Tommas ask me if I wanted her he said he wanted to make sure she got a good home "well she has that". But what I really wanted to say is that I'm so sorry to here about Tommas I really liked him alot had not seen him for awhile since the plant closed but I never forgot him, and I'm sorry to here that you and him was no longer together, I really would love to talk to you but I know you cant give me your number over topix so not for sure how I could get in touch with you. I guess that I just would like to talk a little about Tommas and remember some of the good times we use to have at work. But my prayers do go out to you and his family and his daughter. Tommas will be missed. Could anyone tell me if he worked at Darts at the time of his death?

You are right if anyone has a black belt in martial arts they that alone is considered a weapon in itself, and yes I hope he gets the max as I said in another post Tommas was a small man this guy could of just took the money and left he didnt have to kill him there is NEVER a good reason to take someones life but Tommas was so small that this guy should of been able to over power him without any trouble if robbing him was this guys goal then he could of just took the money and left the charges sure would of been a lot less than murder. I hope this guy gets the NEEDLE, I would wish for the chair but I dont thank they got that were he may be going, really the needle is way to good for him but maybe someone with life in prison will give him a little of what he gave Tommas someone that dosnt have anything to lose and I hope that he is awake for each and every punch that he gets untill the very last breath he takes and I hope that the animal has enough mind at the time to stop and thank to himself "maybe this is how Tommas felt when I did what I did to him" and then I hope that his last thought is of how he beat Tommas to death and if Tommas was saying anything to him if he was able to before the end of it, I would love for him to be able to here Tommas voice and I pray that he heres it till the end. I know thats alot for me to hope for but thats all I can do now, is hope that this animal gets whats comming to him.

Sorry for highjacking the thread, but I'm curious about something. My 11 year old son holds a blackbelt in Tang So Do (will soon be testing as a 2nd degree). Does that make him any different than a child who doesn't have a blackbelt? He knows the difference in right and wrong and would only use it for self defense. However, this man (or lack of manhood if he did commit the crime)is to be treated different than another accused criminal just because he holds a blackbelt? I am not saying this isn't terrible, just curious what the difference is. Thanks

I do understand what your saying and like some people I do not take offense to it but the only thing I can say is this...my nephew who is in special forces in Iraq says that the only time that it is a crime is when the person dies from the person that is using their martial art to do harm and it is proven that the person died from it, but it can also be used to protect yourself and if the person died while you was protecting yourself then I would say it would be a good thing if you had some witness around, then again I really dont know how that would play out but it is true or that is what I have been told that a person can get into trouble for using their hands as a deadly weapon. But then again my nephew has been trained to do alot of things that he says could get him in trouble and by no means I mean no bragging by this but he trains Swat in GA when he is not in Iraq and he says that it is a fact that a person can go to jail for using their hands and feet but he said in this case the guy must of just beat Tommas to death and that had nothing to do with him being a Black Belt he said the only thing that had to do with was him being a "Coward".

I know his dad killed my uncle about 25 years ago. It was also at a dance hall. So history truley does repeat itself. I just hope that he don't get off like his daddy did. He didn't do one day. And it truley was cold blooded. Does anyone know why he killed this man. Someone said they had gotten into it earlier that night. And then someone else said he robbed this man.
I'm so sorry to here that his dad killed your uncle and even more sorry that hes not in the pen and that he didnt do any time all for it. But I beleive that what go's around come's around in due time, and I think he will get his. One way or another.
