Take small bites chew slow and avoid things that stick to your teeth until you get the hang of it and before you know it you will be eating anything, even corn on the cob.

Sleep with them, they will become a part of you. your brain will adapt and you won't let go.

Dont' worry, you'll find someone.(I'm too old for you and married!! lol) Dentures would be a lot better then seeing rotten teeth. Good luck!

I worked at denture clinics and it does take a while to get the hang of eating with them.It is very important to return to the clinic for adjustments because you gums will shrink and all kinds of stuff goes on inside your mouth when you put dentures in your mouth.the dentist can also put a soft liner in you dentures if you need it so just remember if you are having problems contact the place you had your dentures made.If you don't mind me asking did you get your dentures at Dedicated Dentures in Glasgow?

I think a person's self esteem would go up because there are so many people with bad teeth dentures would be a big improvement,if anyone had a problem with someone having dentures they are pretty shallow and you don't need them (shallow person)anyway.

tee tee that comment you made will not be so funny to you if something happens to your teeth or if you end up having a child that has gum disease.I feel like shit anyway.you are kicking a person who is already down.

Hey man rule number one about wearing dentures ... Learn to laugh about them yourself and have thick skin when it comes to the jokes ... I've worn them for close to 7 years now and I wouldn't trade'em for the world ... They are a bitch to get used to , but once you do you'll never regret having them ... It took me close to a year to get to the point of eating just about anything I want ... Biting into an apple or a piece of hard chocolate is impossible , but fortunatly for me I never was a big fan of either ...
I recomend using polygrip over any of the available brands of adhesive , but it lets go of my bottom plate sometimes during a meal ...
You have to train your gums to the dentures ... Your gums are going to shrink about 50% over the next 7 to 9 months and going back to have them adjusted is imperitive ...
Dont' ever try to bite into two ice cubes to seperate them with your front teeth ... I did that once , and broke one my front ones right in half ... It was pretty expensive to have it replaced and the new one didn't fit exactly right either ...
LOL ... I took mine and made castings from them melted down some good plastic and made a couple of spare sets too ... I've even made one set with Vampire fangs , just for Halloween ...
Good luck with them , and I hope I was somewhat helpful ... You'll get used to them in time , hell I raely even think of mine anymore ... Always look at the bright side ... You'll never have another toothache again as long as you live ...
