I really hope that this is not true. He was the best teacher I ever had in school. Till this day I could meet him out somewhere and he would ask about my whole family by name. Remarkable man!

What a sad day to lose such a wonderful, wonderful man. All I picture when I think of Jeff is his happy, smiling face. One of the nicest, greatest people ever. Please pray for the Fosters as they deal with the shocking loss of a vibrant, healthy young man. This is further proof that we don't always lose people to old age or bad health, none of us know what God has in store for us.

His first year teaching at A. T. was the '74-
'75 school year. I had him for homeroom and science fresh out of college and LOVED him. He's one of those teachers who truly made a difference in their student's lives.

Mr. Foster was principal at Happy Valley my entire elementary years (k-5). He knew me by first middle and last name and knew my mother and grandmothers name everyday when they dropped me off and picked me up. He was out there rain, shine, sleet or snow to make sure kids safely got put into their cars/buses. He had the biggest brightest smile, I can never remember him having a bad day. I seen him for the first time in years last year at Mammoth Cave and he approached me by my entire name and asked about my grandmother. He has a special place in my heart. He was a wonderful man with a big heart and he will be missed.

Jeffrey T Bubba Foster obviously touched the lives of very many. I neither had him as a teacher or principal but he was the principal at Happy Valley when my Grandfather, Bobby Pardue retired from Happy Valley School. I also had many friends in high school at BC who talked about how great he was at Austin Tracy too. PaPa and Mr. Foster were very good friends and they would both wish each student good morning. Jeff always called everyone by full name, shook hands, always loved to have popcorn parties, extravaganzas for students, and take lots of pictures and put them on the bullentin boards. He loved corvettes, baseball, airplanes, and Mammoth Cave, and of course everyone he came in contact with! And he was a pallbearer at my grandma's funeral 3 years ago, I believe this was the last time I had saw him.

Just because this man had a good memory, doesn't make him a great man. I have some bad memories of him as my child's principal. He's the only individual I've ever had a problem with while my child attended school for 12 years while in Glasgow.
