This mediator is pretty much getting walked over! He isn't exactly controlling the debate. I've never seen 2 ppl go at it and actually raise their voice to poor ole mediator. Romney is cracking me up cause he keeps smiling/grimacing like he is in pain & trying to smile through it. Obama just keeps repeating the same thing over & over and shaking his head back and forth, back and forth, back and forth!

mmmmmm..........

Romney looked awful nervous to me. When he wiped his face with a handkerchief at the end, his hands were shaking a lot. Guess I'd be nervous too.

Wishful thinking on your part. Even Obama's biggest supporters and his biased media friends are shaking their heads in disbelief. They have invested a lot of time and money on Obama and they got back zero for their investment. They realized what we were saying all along is true...Obama doesn't have a clue and he stammers and stutters without a teleprompter.

Were you hoping that another idiot would agree with you that Romney wiping his forehead means that Obama has nothing to worry about? lol Media/television lights are hot. I saw some sweat on Obama's head...that must mean Obama should be nervous, right?

Do they grow you morons in a lab? Citizens should have to take an IQ test before being allowed to vote. You would never make the grade sweetie. Ahhhhh...

Romnwy was definately pissed at times tonight... he kept talking over Jim Leher. It was a very heated debate between the two, and they kept butting in on each other. But as I said in the other thread, Romney had the style, but Obama had the substance. Now if only Obama can have both for the next two debates.

Damn, Jan Brady...Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! Bush, Bush, Bush! LMMFAO When you don't have a point and all else fails...always refer to Bush. Newsflash truth, Obama failed because he is a failure. His "substance" has wiped out the middle class and damaged America. Romney put Obama in his place tonight and even though it kills you to admit it we all know that you realize it. But being dumb ass that you are...you blame it on Bush because well, because you don't have anything else. Are you saving the racist excuse for the next debate? We didn't expect anything less from your dumb ass.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaa mama, Bush made Obama fail AGAIN!

Maybe we should all watch reruns of The View if we really want to see Mr. "eye candy" man in his element. lol

Obama had substance? My God woman what fairy tale were you watching? Obama can't run on his horrible economy and every time he says give him 4 more years Americans want to scream. 4 more years to do what? Double down on what he's done the first 4 years? Can we really survive if Obama gets another chance to enforce his policies? Double that number of 23 million unemployed Americans. Double that number of 43 million Americans living at the poverty level. Double that number of Americans on food stamps. Double those high gas prices. Double the number of homeless Americans. 45 more straight months of high unemployment.

You people need to come up with an excuse that might be a little believable anyway. lol Obama got his ass handed to him tonight because he doesn't have a clue about the issues if it's not on a teleprompter in front of him. You know what's even funnier than that? You crying like a sissy biotch and blaming Bush! You are ignorant sisterboy and that makes us all giggle.

I just have to get this off my chest because I like getting on TOPIX & giving my opinion. Sometimes I agree & sometimes I disagree. BUT, why in the world do other posts have to be so vile? I mean REALLY?? Some of you out in Topix Land get on here & post on anything & everything. That not my complaint, like I said, we are all entitled to our opinion & to express it and especially write it on Topix! So, why is it others immediatly start swearing, talking like you have no manners, etc...?

I don't mean to sound all prim and proper. Just sayin try giving your opinion without adding all the useless 3rd grader name calling & attitude!

Oh,my! You've got to be kidding. Romney had the style all right.
President had the substance?? Where was it? You must be the only one who saw that. There is no way president can have the next 2 debates. He has nothing to stand on for past 4 years. I don't think anyone expected exactly what we saw last night. Even Bill Maher!! Romney was prepared, and you will be seeing his plan now for the next 4 weeks. Ryan said, "If you think that was fun, just wait until Thursday, Oct. 11." I should stop, but last night was a great debate. Lies have been thrown Romney's way from the president and media was behind president at every turn. Our Nation was able to see and hear the real Romney last night. Those of us who already knew we were voting for him knew it was there all along. He is capable, loves our Nation and knows we are in trouble going down the wrong path. He knows how to get us back on the right path, and is willing to step up for all of us, and his family. May God Bless the Romney and Ryan family. I know it won't be easy. There will many sacrifices for all of us.

I think Romney kicked his butt, he was clear with his answers and explained what his plans are. All obama could do was go over the same old crap the media has been lying about all this time . Romney already had my vote and I would say he got a lot more last night.

The debate last night opened my eyes up very much. I was going to vote for Obama. But after the debate it is very clear. Obama doesn't have a clue. Romney sounded like he had been the president for four years. Obama sounded like someone that had been sleeping under a rock.

I'm still voting for Romney cause I'm a Republican but I watched the whole debate and I thought Obama won hands down. Romney did come across as being to nervous and unsure of his answers.

That is great! I'm sure there are many more like you. In fact I know there are. I watched Hannity last night after the debate. I'm not remembering the guy who always has a group of people watching then he asks them questions. His group last night were undecided. A majority of them decided on Romney. Their ages were young 22 yrs. on up to older. After watching Romney and the president they had no problem making up their mind last night.

Obama did exactly what he needed to do, and that was let Romney talk. Yes Romney controled the debate (even showing how undiplomatic he can be when faced with being challenged) but if everyone would do reserch you would have noticed that Romney completely flip flopped on everything he has been stating since starting to run for president. He claimed he didn't have a $5 trillion dollar tax cut, but his 20% across the board cut does equal $5 Trillion. He says it will be nutraul after he elimiinates some (although he never would say what) loopholes, but every single loophole and deduction used by all classes only equals $1 Trillion, so where does the other $4 Trillion come from? Romney stated he won't reduce high income taxes, but has always said he will extend the Bush tax cuts. He keeps attacking Obama over the $716 Billion taken from medicare, but he and Ryan include that same number in their budget. Romney has supported a voucher system for medicare but last night claims he doesn't. Yes, on the surface it does look like Romney won, but the truth is Romney simply showed his true colors and his words will come back to haunt him in the upcoming debates.

You might be right. Obama is one of the best politicians I've ever seen. Remember how he won his senate seat and how he took down the Clinton Democrat machine to get the nomination. He's like a really good chess player; always playing one move ahead of his opponent. He may have accomplished exactly what he intended last night. Romney did change his position on a lot of things he's been campaigning on. Now he has to defend them.

Debt increase last 4 years,$5 Trillion
Americans living in poverty, up 9%
Number of Americans on food stamps , up 14 million
The look on Obamas face during the debate when the facts were stated, priceless.

When is Obama going to defend his useless record for the past 4 years???? He cannot defend his record, so watch out, it's going to get ugly, ugly for the remaining time before the election.
