This afternoon we went to Fountain Run and ate at this great little restaurant. It's located where the old mill was. Country cooking with huge portions. Eight of us ate for $7.14. No kidding. If you signed a sheet for Modern Woodmen, you got $2.50 knocked off of the price of each plate. They had fried fish, huspuppies, potato salad, green beans, cabbage, ribs, shoulder, chicken strips, baked potatoes, french fries, mac and cheese, and lots of other good food including several choices of desserts. Go and give it a try, it is well worth the drive and the food was great.

You might want to advertise in the newspaper. Not everyone reads Topix.

I have been there and I am having trouble believing 8 people ate for $7.14 which averages 89 cents each. With $2.50 off per meal, that means each meal averaged $3.39. This place is not expensive but it isn't that cheap unless you all just ate a hamburger or a couple vegetables. I don't think you got a full meal with meat, vegetables, and drink for $3.39.

no $7.14 for eight to eat. I'm telling y'all to go there and give it a try on a Friday afternoon. I don't know if the prices are that low every day, but it was yesterday.

You might want to try an enema! What do you care if it is the owner trying to advertise. It's not hurting you. Jerk.
