Go into your appointment and be honest with her. Tell her the rumors you've heard, tell her about your reservations, tell her what you're expecting from her as a doctor and ask her if she feels she can deliver that kind of care. Take charge of your health. You have that right. Tell her what you've said here... your time is important, you're investing your hard earned money in your health and in her care of your health and expecting that she do what she's supposed to as your doctor. If she doesn't like it, she can ask you to find another doctor and if she takes you on, I guarantee she won't forget you after that introduction.
I agree with St8up, Dr Walton-Shirley is a caring, person and a knowledgeable up to date cardiologist. She cares about her patients and works hard to find the problem and a way to fix it. Keep you appt and be totaly honest with her. She will treat you right./QUOTE]
