Oh one more thing. If you actually look into the bill relating to farm subsidies you will see that about 95 percent of that total bill is for food stamps. They just do not want you to know that.
And I suppose you think a clock-punching stiff working for minumum wage at a factory or worse doesn't have it bad? Your seasonal work amounts to nothing compared to some jobs i know yes, the farm life is much easier 365 than most clock punchers.

As for your upholding farm welfare, I could care less what the price of milk increases to,$4 gallon gas is much worse. Will $5 diesel fuel hurt your 'business' or will the government subsidize it, or will it be a tax exemption?

How about crep and caip, does that have anything to do with foodstamps?
The fact is, most folks kicking a 40+ hr week don't realise how much of this "bullshit" goes on. They don't have a clue their tax money is buying $300k combines, tractors and $50k pickup trucks.
Seems odd that big farms are always owned by wealthy individuals but i'm sure they're working themselves to death, ehh?
I know for a fact that all farmers are NOT recipients and I respect those individuals for their work!

I understand all too well about what you refer to as the clock punching stiff in the factory, as I have done that. If you will re-read my post you will see that I did not say that other folks jobs were any less difficult.. I agree on your point of fuel prices. Way too high for the folks like you and I who drive to work. Takes the money out of your pocket from the get go. As for the crep and other programs we are not involved with those so I cannot address them. As for the $300,000 tractors and $50,000 trucks I can assure you we do not have those either. I laughed out loud when I read that, if you could only see our truck and equipment, I think you would chuckle as well.
