Why is it such a bad thing that people are healthy and like to run/walk? Maybe you should get off your lazy butt and do it too! This race has taken place for years. It should be no surprise to you. Not like this is a big city that is hard to navigate around. Go another route, lol!

Perfect place for it is at Beaver Trail, got the park and the track put it to use and don't cause all the traffic drama.

can you picture 80 people running 20 laps around the track? the race is 5 miles,

Nascar runs 500 miles on 1 track, so what is your point? It is a good event it just should not screw up traffic in town with all the walks add races for close to 2 hours.

mt point is beaver trail is not a nascar size track. that many people on the track at one time small kids and slower runners would get hurt. it is not possible at all to run a race that size and distance at beaver trail.
