Could not having a Facebook account be a sign that someone is a psychopath? Believe it or not, that's what at least one psychologist suggests in a new article, according to Forbes.com .

The expert points out both Anders Breivik, the Norwegian accused mass murderer, and James Holmes, the suspect in the Colorado shooting rampage, lacked a social media presence. The theory might be taking it a little far, but Forbes goes on to say, someone without a Facebook page could be considered "suspicious"--especi ally in certain categories.

For example, potential employers might think the job candidate could be hiding something, or there were so many red flags the account had to be deleted.

Another example-- some women say if they're considering dating a man who doesn't have a Facebook account it could mean he is already in a relationship.

What do you think? When you meet someone who isn't on Facebook, does it raise any red flags?

There are a lot of people on Failbook that DO raise red flags.

Smells like Facebook propaganda to me. Zuckerberg wants to take over the world it seems, and facebook has graually taken on this eerie "mark of the beast" vibe to it.

When I meet someone who does have a Facebook account, it raises red flags!

i.e. this person does not want to take the time/effort to communicate on an individual, personal level.

They may have the mentality of a 5 year-old, wanting people to "friend them".

They're not concerned about their privacy.

etc.

And if someone texts while in a conversation with me, or messes with their smartphone/tablet, I end that conversation!

There's so much communication these days- but very little actually being said. Give me substance over quantity; and personal interaction over mass broadcast.

Can't take the time to call me; email; snail mail or visit? Nice knowin' ya!

No. I don't have one because I don't want people up in my business. It's stupid. If I want to talk to someone I'll call them. Almost everyone I know who is in my field does NOT have a FB account because they feel the same way. Plus, for jobs that mean diddly squat, employers check your FB and you can get FIRED for what is on there. They can't legally fire you, but if you are in an at will employment state they can and do and just blame it on other things depending on what your boss' views are. FB is a big waste of time.

Never had one and never wanted one. Actually, I refuse to have one. I'm more cautious of people that do have them.

I have a FB account with over 14,000 friends all of them women. I own my own company so that does not concern me.

Sounds like you have no friends. Only statistics.

My husband and I SHARE the same FACEBOOK account, even though it only has my NAME on it. Everything that is always posted on it DOES NOT always come from me. I also let other FAMILY MEMBERS use it also when they visit.

Always keep in mind you may not be actually talking to the person thats name is on the FACEBOOK account. Several people are allowed to use my FACEBOOK account. I have no SECRETS. Just saying. There are always FACEBOOK HACKERS. Everyone also needs to CONSIDER this.

I thought I was the last holdout on having a facebook account. I went and done it and few weeks ago! lol The reasoning behind that was because I can see pics and read little bits of news about my cousins and nieces and nephews in other counties and states and friends from long ago and their family updates and so on. These are people that I don't normally call on a daily basis Yet I can see and know about on a daily basis thru facebook. I can just look at the pics and read the comments or I can leave a comment. In other words I am now included in the everyday life (first day of school pics, Halloween costumes, vacation pictures, etc) of my extended family and friends without getting on the phone and calling each and everyone of them everyday so as to be included in all the happenings of each family. This way I am included and I don't have to wait until my niece gets home from work to call her 5 states away (and an entirely different time zone)to see how her daughters first day of school turned out. I can get on the computer anytime day or night but to actually talk to my neice every day to see how things are going I would have to get up at 2am to call her when she gets home from work at 6pm. It keeps people connected and we get to experience each others everyday lives when we can't be on the phone with each and every one of our family members and friends every day.

Yes, it's a great way to stay in touch with people who don't care enough to pick up the phone or email some pics. Or to find old friends whom we never cared about enough to stay in touch with or to pick up the phone and ask information for their number.

deleting my FB was the best thing I ever did, lol. Anyone I want to talk to has my phone number, and if I dont care about you enough to give you my number, I dont want to waste the precious minutes of my day by reading about your daily miseries, just saying....if that's psycho, then so be it. I just think I have a LOT of better things to be doing with my free time than reading the same crap from the same people day after day. Not to mention the security issues associated with broadcasting yourself on the internet....

Emailing a pic is better? Isn't that just about the same as posting a pic on your facebook page? Oops! lol Many people do pick up their phone and contact each other on facebook daily.

I think your post was meant to disregard any reasoning for having facebook but instead you promoted facebook. You might wanna work on that a bit! LMMFAO!

Why not use messenger to converse with your friends? You can stay signed in and send anytime you please. That way it's only you and them. Why not email pictures that way only the one you intend to see the picture will see it and you can pull it back up aytime you want. I have to question why people who are so anxious to share so much with so many. Privacy is a pricelss! Use it.
