I have insurance through my employer at a rate of 380 dollars a month, which only MY portion, that does not include what my employer pays. When the Obamacare plan goes into effect I expect two possibilities to happen. One, the insurance premium to jump sky high or two, my company will just drop all of the coverage, or pay less of the increase.

But you did not answer any of the questions. Nothing personal just wondering how and what is in this for you? It seems to me that all that Obamacare is going to help, is people that either don't work or people that work and their employer does not have an insurance plan. The people that qualify for the Obama plan are already on Medicare or Medicaid.

lmao, you are agreeing your stupid messiah has really fcked up in forcing his "inshorance" plan up our [taxpayers] asses? This will make premiums go up for honest working folks while worthless scum like YOU will continue getting first class treatment with your gov'ment welfare plan. No regulation on the "shorance" companies as they will charge what they want...to turn a profit and pay for our liberal minded inshorance. The emergency rooms WILL continue to overflow with welfare trash burning thru medical cards like menthol cigarettes. I'm sure the halfbreed will have a perfect excuse for his failure, as usual...long after the damage is done.

It will affect the same as everyone else. It's just that I believe that this health care law will extend coverage to those that before wouldn't have it, and I am happy that pre-existing conditions are now covered. This law will also help a lot of older people and younger people, who can be on their parents' insurance until 26.

Received this email today.
My wife and I were in slow-moving traffic the other day and
we were stopped behind a car that had an unusual Obama bumper sticker on it.
It read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".
When we got home my wife got out the Bible and opened it
up to the scripture. She started laughing & laughing. Then she
read it to me. I couldn't believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too.
Psalm 109:8 ~
"Let his days be few and brief;
And let others step forward to replace him."
At last -- I can honestly voice a Biblical prayer for our President! Look it up -- it is word for word! Let us all bow our
heads and pray.
Brothers and Sisters, can I get an
AMEN!!!!
PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!!!
I seen on a bumper sticker that Obama stood for:
One
Big
Ass
Mistake
America

I thought it was funny :)

I still have a few questions. Just how would it affect the same as everyone else? Explain? And can you explain extended coverage to those that before wouldn't have? Explain why they didn't have it before. The older people that are disabled or retired are already on medicare or medicaid, am I wrong by thinking that? My insurance already covers 20 some year old siblings, even before Obamacare. So now can you explain just what is the benefits of Obamacare that wasn't already in effect?

Its just that you seem to know and endorse this Obamacare, but I not convinced of its benefits without costing the working people and arm and a leg in higher insurance premiums and higher taxes to pay for the others that don't have it for one reason or another. And just what kind of insurance do you have and who pays for it?

So what are my benefits going to be for this Obamacare for me? Can you explain this?

I love how everytime you right wingnuts get backed into a corner you whip out that same old "welfare" insult. It's like you think a person must be on welfare if they disagree with you. LOL! It keeps you from having to think about the whole picture of things.
And by the way, what would you define as a meaningful existence? I would define it as a person who treats others the way they would want to be treated, and who does the best they can to live the life they want.
I think people refer to welfare because anyone with "VERY" much in terms of wealth would never support Socialism. I am a registered democrat but feel we give way to much away in terms of welfare and other social programs. I say get this Country out of debt before we give another PENNY to aid any other foreign Country. I'm not wealthy but I have a Family business and stand to inherit a substantial amount of money that my Family worked hard to acquire. I believe in Charity but I'm only going to give to those "I-Myself", not the Government, deem worthy. There is no way I could support socialism in any form. We've worked hard to get ahead and don't intend to bow to anyone!

I would never want a large amount of wealth. One of the most enlightening experiences of my life was reading the book of Ecclesiastes from the bible, which talks about how the more wealth and power one has, the more worrisome and complicated their life becomes. And the words of Jesus from the New Testament are also very inspiring, when he speaks of feeding the sick and hungry, and of giving to the poor (which is now reflected in the tithings in churches). He was very concerned about the well-being of all people, and seemed to very much have similar beliefs as socialism: that everyone should do their part and that we are all equal in God's eyes. It isn't our posessions or wealth that defines us, but our actions and how we treat each other.
