I was in E-town on Tuesday and gas was 3.41 @ Kroger (That's w/ my 10cents off) So w/o saver card still $3.51! It was 3.79 when I left Glasgow!

I cannot understand WHY gas is so high here in when usually it's lower than BGs prices, Their gas, as of last night- in BG, was $3.66.

Prices differ from state to state based on several different taxes. Also price gouging is what happens after a disaster(hurricane, floods, torn adoes)a person or company tries to sell or sells a much needed product for an inflated price for greed, this is illegal. Also in kentucky, according to the officials a station owner can raise his prices at will. For example in florida, a station owner may only change his prices after receiving a new shipment of gas.

I drive to all over the state for work, and I am here to tell you that Glasgow area gas prices are higher than anywhere! I really think we should be contacting someone in Frankfort. When I go to a city like Louisville or Lexington and the gas prices are 25 cents CHEAPER than Glasgow, or even Cave City which is usually more expensive is 20 cents cheaper...we have an issue!!

Just got gas in Cave City for only 3.68 which was .11 cents cheaper then Glasgow today. I agree with Renee...when Cave City is cheaper then Glasgow, there are issues somewhere!!

This has been going on for a few weeks now. There is definitely price gouging because Glasgow is so much higher than anyone elose around anywhere. Hope they get turned in and they close them or fine them. Dishonesty is rampant these days but there is a day coming when it will be dealt with.

It's all a scam, people are just getting greedy. Go to gasbuddy.com and compare prices to the nearby counties. Why is it Travelers Food Plaza (owner Brandon Wininger) who owns aprrox. 6 stations total serving Glasgow and Tompkinsville. On the gasbuddy.com website shows Glasgow and Tompkinsville with highest gas prices in the area.

Glenn Beck didn't get fired. He will be on another Fox Channel later this year.
So, "whatever" I guess you are wrong, so save your lol.
There is nothing wrong with Glenn Beck. Those who watch him are getting factual news, unlike many other channels.
If he reports something that is incorrect he will acknowledge it, and tell you he was wrong.(hasn't happened more than one time that I know of)
If you don't like him don't watch him. Many of us like him.

In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

...On April 15th 2011, all internet users are not to go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $1.20 a liter in most places.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so Please do not go to the gas station on April 15th and let's try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I can't see why you wouldn't) Re send this to all your contact list. "Don't pump any Gas on April 15th" Invite Everyone You Know . Thank you! United We Cannot be Defeated!

if you really want to hurt the oil companies and decrease the rate of gasoline, you have to do this for at least a month... an obvious decrease in demand will lead to an obvious overstock of supply which leads to decreased prices... don't be lazy or shy car pool, bike, or walk for a month then you'll see a difference in more than one way.

A lot of you are 'attending' no gas day. I do not see that helping with the price of gas-the gas stations do not control the price, big oil does. If you don't buy gas April 15th you are only hurting the little man, the store owner. Can you convince me otherwise?
