You would think that was the only murder to ever happen around here. What about all the unsolved murders?????? That's what needs to be televised and more so investigated. I liked Nunn but murders happen all the time that are just as bad.

ABC is running a short-lived series, titled "Revenge for Real", about true life murder-revenge stories, this one fits the bill, wealth, prestige, politics, small town, perfect fodder for a TV show like that.

ABC was catering to the wealth. If Steve Nunn had not been a KY household name., the media would ignore it. However being on abc earlier, it probably drew an audience that had never heard of this case, seeing it only made Good morning America and Nancy Grace a few times over the last couple years. Bet Steve Nunn watched it with his prison buddies and now a ton of women will want to marry Steve Nunn just like crazy women are always attracted to killers.

He was one bizarre man. Nothing like his father.

I thought the show was very interesting. I didn't know the Nunns were that dysfunctional as a family. I can remember when the family lived down on South Green St. many years ago. It's sad that someone with so much potential took such a downward plunge. I don't condone his actions at all, but there's a part of me that can't help but feel sorry for Steve, knowing he's locked up for the rest of his life.

We all make choices that can affect our lives that can hurt ourself and others.

I wasn't saying I didn't think he should be locked up, just saying I can't help but feel sorry for him and his situation. I didn't know his ex-wife had written a book. I probably would have, too! But due to the Son of Sam law, Steve can't profit from it, at least directly.

Steve Nunn had always been crazy. It's such a shame he didn't get help before it was too late, I think he wanted success so bad and he just never felt like he lived up to the family's name. Heard he flunked out of law school and really never achieved a political career. The last few years after the divorce from the 2nd wife, he just lost it, it's strange because he was in his late 50s when he killed the girl, usually someone goes nuts before they are that old. I feel sorry for him because you want to remember Steve as the son of Louie Nunn and what a great era that was back then and to see what he has been reduced to in present day is tough for those that remember his father.

That's been his problem this whole time " living up to louie b nunn" rather than living and making his own way. He was expected to do great things because of who his father was. Thats a lot of pressure and weight to carry. He did what he did and now paying the price is a must but people need to stop referring to him as louie nunns son. He is his own man that made his own decisions good, bad or indifferent. Just as Louie nunn did. He did his dirt too but you never heard people compare him to his father.

Did Louie also have a mistress half (or more)his age ?
