Magazine scam; help me please!! >.<?I am so sorry in advance for this novel. SORRY!!! but please read.

On may 16th, 2011 I got a call from a woman saying that she works for Periodicals. She said that I had a chance to win $100,000 in either a scholarship or in cash and a Diamond watch for free. being a naive 18 year old going off to college, I was sucked in already.

She told me about all these magazines that i could get and I would only pay for two of them. They would charge me about $21 a month for four years. I thought it was a good deal at the time =.='

I was then later called by a man asking about how the lady was doing since she was "new". they were really nice, and so we started talking about the company and what they did.

I asked about the cancellation process. He told me that I had 3 days to cancel. I asked if the cancellation starts when i get the magazines or whenever the order was made. he told me that it starts whenever i receive the magazines, then something about switching magazines if I'd like. I was very hesitant, but my mind was on the $100,000 that I could "win" for college.

A few days later I found out that Periodicals was a scam, and I started to panic. I called them but found out that they were only open during the weekdays during school hours. Whenever I got the chance to call them, a lady told me that I could not cancel any longer because the cancellation actually starts from the last time that I talked to one of their staff members, 5 days have passed since then. Now I don't know what to do!!

Should I just cancel my checking account? What will they do if I close it? I'm so scared and stressed right now, I don't know what to do! Please help!
The magazine company already has my contact info so if I don't pay them Won't they try to get my money any way that they can? Can they even sue me for this? >.<

I can't believe that I fell into this scam.
I know that it's my mistake and I want to fix it, but I just don't know how. please help! Please!!
