Should I file for bankruptcy? What options do I have?I just finished a divorce that took over a year and half to complete. Now Im faced with child support and alimony, in addition to whatever equitable distribution I have to pay. This year and a half led to me using up my credit cards and borrowing money. I've reached a point that I will not have any credit cards or enough cash to pay for my own living expenses, car, food, etc, plus child support and alimony.
Can I file for bankruptcy? What option do I have? My credit is over 700, but I really cannot afford to pay for everything anymore. I dont know what to do.
I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
