How can I collect judgement after the tenant loses in Landlord/Tenant court? For a landlord that has a tenant who owes him several months past due rent and wins in Landlord/Tenant court, how does he then attempt to collect the outstanding debt from the now ex-tenant? What happens if the tenant packs up and moves out without paying the court ordered amount?
Would I now have to go to civil court and file a motion against the ex-tenant to collect the owed money? What impact does the Landlord/Tenant court have on the ex-tenant at this point?
Last question, how can I report this to the credit bureaus in order to have his credit scores brought down?
