is it common for the city to remove trees on private property for apparent reason except for homeowner to construct a shed? is this even legal using taxpayers money? same questions for snow removal. why do they use taxpayers money for snow removal on a private drive marked as such and is recorded in tax records as privately owned?city gives no response or answer when asked these questions.

Normally if the owner works for the city or is an elected offical, they get 'special' privleges at times.
Also, if the owner is a 'good' buddy with the mayor or other officials, they tend to get better treatment such as snow removal or tree cutting at taxpayers expense.
Where I live now, the city contacts with a tree cutting company , who will either trim or cut trees down IF the city deems the tree might fall onto the power lines or on the road. they dont ask homeowners permission, they just go and cut them.
When asking city officials, you will never get the real answer, only what they want you to know.
No It is NOT LEGAL to be using city crews and taxpayers money to support a private persons property!!!!

If thats the case, maybe the neighbors might want to talk to their councilman and ask for the same privliges as this guy .
sounds like he either knows someone that is in the city system or he is a snitch or blackmailing someone ?
