He better get cited for wreckless driving, endangering motorists, crossing the double yellow, exceeding the speed limit, and making my commute 1 hour this morning.

That'll be nothing compared to the bill for the flight to the hospital.

It's amazing he didn't severly injure anyone but himself. I bet he wishes he'd just been patient and stayed behind the Mercedes instead of trying to pass illegally over the double yellow line. It's just not worth the extra seconds you gain to take chances like that. Patience is a virtue.

I wouldn't put any money on it.

I'll bet he's probably still swearing at her for one reason or another.

You're a moron. No mention of DWI, stop making assumptions about things you have no idea about.

I hope this kid gets in MAJOR trouble, but I do hope he recovers quickly. I hope everyone else involved is OK too.

Sounds like something from Wildest Police Chases with a 4 car crash like this!

Why bother? He suffered major injuries, wrecked his car, and will undoubtedly be sued by at least 3 other parties for damages, pain and suffering. What on Earth would a citation do? I would cite him if he didn't hurt himself, but caused injuries and damage to other persons.

I still want to know who is getting rich off these Helicopter rides. My wife broke her back and was driven to Dominican Hospital, then took an Ambulance over the hill to Kaiser. Are they calling for them because they know these people have no insurance and we get to pick up the tab?

Moron? Assumptions?? There was no police chase, so how could it be like a wildest police chases show???? and um, he wasn't a kid.. He was a 25 year old man, driving a crappy car.. I read the same article as you... Since you obviously can't read (thus, you being a moron), let me quote it for you...."The 25-year-old man was driving north on Highway 1 in his 1999 Camaro. " Do you need someone to explain the meaning of idiot to you as well? MORON !!!

so its okay to hurt someone else and get cited, but if your an idiot and you hurt yourself (as well as others) you shouldn't get cited??? hmmm.. lets think about this... its okay to break the law and not get cited if you get hurt, because somehow you have learned your lesson... um.. yea... your smart...

I travel that road often and see people making
u-turns all the time. Very unsafe and dangerous. That stretch of road desperately needs to be widen.

if the idea of citing someone is to punish them, how much extra punishment does a citation bring when you have obviously become a victim of your own stupidity. Of COURSE I'm right. Idiot. Cite someone who GOT AWAY with it without becoming a victim himself. Sheesh.

LOL! Gina said, "...under the influence OF MID-TWENTIES TESTOSTERONE..." and I agree. A 25-year-old driving a 1999 Camero, passing people by crossing the double yellow line? Disaster waiting to happen.
