It is terribly sad what happened to Kristen Lee. I live in Gillespie, but I didn't know her. I think it is great that psychics have been brought in to help with her case. I have a lot more faith in them than I do in the local authorities.
I have no clue what is actually going on with the case.
The "word on the street" however, has been the same for the past three years, since the murder occurred. Same story, same two guys (names included). I have no idea if these two are even suspects.
I realize that I sound clueless, but this is the first I've heard of this case since it happened. The murder made the paper. Cops knew nothing. Didn't hear anymore about it.(That's not too surprising for this area.)

Are most residents of Gillespie aware that one of the greatest movie stars of "The Golden Age of Hollywood" (and later in TV shows such as "Dallas") was born and reared in Gillespie? Howard Keel was not only one of the most handsome film stars ever, he was also one of the most talented actors, and his baritone voice in films such as "Show Boat" (1951) was unforgettable. He was a genuine Hollywood legend, and I'm wondering why the town of Gillespie doesn't have something about him that would be of interest to tourists, etc. If the town already has something, and I'm not aware of it, please let me know what it is.(I live in another state)I'm assuming the local library has copies of his autography, "Only Make Believe: My Life in Show Business," which was published after his death at age 84 in November, 2004.
