I just want to make everyone aware that the Cavallo Bus Lines located in your town is crossing a picket line in Metropolis, IL. Honeywell, a chemical plant, has locked out the USW Local 7-669. Cavallo Bus lines are busing in SCAB workers from the Shaw Group. Please if you are Union or know someone Union let them know so they will not use this bus line.

No what I am saying is United we stand Divided we fall. Do you know that saying? If not you are not a Union member or from a Union family. Anyone who does not respect the picket line and crosses is a "scab" no if and or but about it. These bus drivers are crossing the picket line everyday twice a day. If a company in my town did this I would want to know it and I would not use this company for anything. THAT IS WHAT IM SAYING!!!!!

Ms. Lynn,....of course I've heard (and understand) the old proverbial saying that you've mentioned. Your third sentence above is quite accurate. Unions, in their functional day, were exceptionally useful, too many purposes to talk about here. Especially considering the current administration and the USA jobs that went overseas or "across the border", the hay-days of the union are generally passed. However, I do respect your opinion...for what it's worth. By the way, I was raised 6 miles from Cavallo's, long ago.....in union country!

unions are a dead religion unfortunately..

and in this day and age...the way the economy is...nobody really has the extra liberty to leave or hold out when it comes to making money the hard and honest way...

unions used to have all sorts of leverage and power..

as i said..unions are a dead religion..

Have to agree. Unions are a thing of the past. All they're good for is stealing your money and making promises that are impossible for them to keep. RIP Jimmy Hoffa.
