This guy got *probation* for practicing medicine without a license earlier? And was bailed out on the second charge of the same this time?

These judges should be hanged.

Well it's in Illinois, home of Luis Gutierrez and his Congressional push for Shamnesty. There always seems to be a communication "glitch" between L.E. agencies. I'm tired of the same excuses. I'm sure the "good purported doctor" paid federal taxes-wrong!

If I had a doctors appointment and his office was in his basement,I would call the police or have him checked out with the AMA. There is something fishy about that.

Lets review shall we? Caravantes, had a pharmacy in the basement.
The first time they knew he had practiced medicine without a license! They found the pharmacy in his basement! They had Proof he had dispensed it, they were given penicillin pills he had given for an ear ache.
Why was he deported ? Which criminal offense did they use? Practicing medicine without a license? Distributing prescription medicine? Where did he obtain that medicine? Here or did he have it mailed from Mexico? Where is the slightest hint of law enforcement conducting an investigation the first time? Why was he deported? They deported him for overstaying his visa! Something smells very fishy here.

Gee what would have happened to one of us if we did that?

HE CAME BACK:
So what happened? He was deported in 2004, came back into the USA (did they say if he got a 'visa' the second time? yeah I wonder don't you?) It does say “HE WAS ALLOWED TO RE-ENTER the United States”. Some secure border isn’t it? This creep did not even sneak back in.

This time, he AGAIN he was caught practicing medicine by a law officer undercover. They KNEW he had entered the US illegally at least two times. They KNEW it was the second time he was caught practicing medicine without a license. So what did the judge do?
The judge allowed bail a $20,000 bail . What did that cost him $2,000? The article says he was known not to have credit but plenty of cash. Big frickin surprise, he did not show up for trail.. and they think he is back in Mexico.

Illegal aliens should NEVER be given bail!! NEVER! So much about this stinks to high heaven! Smells of corruption.

SECURE THE DAM * BORDER NOW!!!!!!

No felony convictionS? This story stinks to high heaven,. Have a trial for him in abstentia.(sp) Get at least one gd felony conviction .

He should have moved to San Francisco, the city that loves fraud, liars, con men, and getting everything backwards, sideways, and upside down.

If he had set up his business and con game in SF, they would have probably declared him Medical Professional of the Year, and even if the SF authorities had been presented with irrefutable proof that he was nothing but a liar, a phony, and a con man, they would have most likely intentionally ignored the evidence and while simultaneously pretending to believe any obvious lies, garbage, and nonsense a lawyer representing him might have presented "proving" he and his operation was "legitimate."

That's why we need illegals: to commit the medical fraud that Americans just won't commit. This guy was doing our country a service!

Barb you obviously didn't read the article very carefully. Of course any American with half a brain would have called the authorities on this guy...but his "patients" were illegals who were too afraid to turn him in!

Matt: how do you and your fellow anti-Obama pals manage to turn EVERY frigin story into an Obama bash??????

Everybody else is absolutely correct...it's the American justice system that is so totally out of whack its pathetic.

The most basic and the most fundamental responsibility that any government has in common and must provide; no matter what kind of government that is in power since the inception of government, "PROTECT YOUR PEOPLE".

With that said, every elected public servant is sworn to uphold the "laws" of the Constitution of the United States of America. In the Constitution of the United States of America, it directs the governments on what and how to protect the people of the United States of America; not Mexico, not China, not Canada, not Europe, the United States of America and only the United States of America and it possessions.

The elected public servants are not upholding the laws of the Constitution of the United States of America; they are pandering to a potential voting bloc. It also does not help that every time someone tries to tackle the Illegal Alien problem they are brought into court by the radical-open border special interests groups.

This is our land, our country, not Mexico’s, not Canada’s, not China’s and definitely not the government’s; as it states in the Constitution of the United States of America; Article I, Section VIII, Clause XV - To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions. 20+ million people ILLEGALLY in the United States of America correspond to a major insurrection and an INVASION.

So it is not a “Federal problem” it is a government problem, every single member of government in this nation!!!!!!!!!!

I went to my 30th Class reunion a couple of years ago and saw several people it was very nice. Then I went to my old neighborhood, several people told not to go there unless I spoke Spanish. When I drove down the street where I lived since I was 4 to 21 years old, was all run down and several Spanish people lived with multi family members in one house. Several Elgin Police Officer are Spanish and only take care of there own. They just look the other way. That's why so many Gangs live there because they receive more public housing and it's affordable too! Draw you own conclusions I just wish people would just care a lot more than they do back in the 30's, thru the 80's everyone new everyone and was kind for several generations. It might be a better way to live.

...This problem with allowing illigals into our country has realy gone beyond repair. The people in office, wherever they may be, and whoever they are, seem to steer around this ongoing problem. They only say the things that we in law-abiding society wish to hear. But that's only for their own political gain so they may secure a comfortable position sitting on their butts in office, and begin to turn the other way, after saying they would look into the matter of pushing for stronger border security. and dealing with the issue at hand.
Not only should we close the southern border, we should also focus our attention on the northern border and coastal ports as well to keep the illigal "snowback Canadians and French, and any Johnny Jihadist from sneaking in.
Sadly, this will continue to be an ongoing, and evergrowing problem to which there is no end in sight. Hispanic American, born and raised in the Great State of Texas, It angers and saddens me when our American government sits idle and allows everything that myself, my father, and grandfather fought to keep safe and free, and pure, The United States Of America, from outside corruption to only see it all now go to hell in a corrupt political handbasket of sorts...
Let's fight to keep America free and safe for our fellow Americans, their sons, and daughters and all the others not yet born...

I Never directly accused Mr. Caravantes of being an illigal alien. Although he had been charged, and deported from this country after his visa expired. And knowing that his visa was expired, and not taking the proper steps to re-register with the department of imigration naturalization, he then became an illigal alien living in our country during the time he had practiced medicine without a license.
So again, My comment was in fact, NEVER directed at Mr. Carvantes until now. My comment had only been directed on all people seeking to enter our country illigaly...

If you are "illegal" then your very presence is a threat to law abiding U.S. citizens. We should be able to terminate them on the spot. They steal our air by breathing; they steal our medical services by using our emergency rooms to treat their off-springs sniffles; they defy our culture by refusing to learn english; they are worthless, felonious outlaws that this country must eradicate.
