The Bible says that when Jesus was baptized at the Jordan River, "The Heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of GOD descendiing like a dove, and lighting upon Him; and to a voice from Heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:16-17)

Is it possible God could say the same thing today about his children? Does he ever look upon you or me and say, "Here is one in whom I am well pleased" According to Scripture, it happened with Enoch; "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death...for before his translation, he had this testimony, that he pleased God" (Hebrews 11:5). None of us expects to be translated as Enoch was. But every Christian wants to hear ourLord say at the Judgment, "You lived a life that was pleasing to me." CONTINUE>>>

Christ said. "I do always those things that please Him" (JOHN 8:29) My heart is stirred as I read these words and I wonder, "What are those things Jesus is talking about? How do I do them?" As I ponder this, I remind myself his yoke is easy and his burden is light--so "those things" cannot bring a heavy yoke. Clearly, God enables us to please Him out of His heart of Love. His Word clearly reveals the things that please Him. All of these things are possible for any believer.

Unless the Holy Ghost does the work, we can witness to as many people as we want amd nothing will happen. No one comes to the Father except as they're drawn by the Spirit. Only the Holy Ghost can speak to the deepest reaches of the heart. And to win the lost to Jesus, we have to be on our knees, getting to know the Spirit's voice. He will lead us to the people he has singled out. And he'll give us the words to speak when we need them.

I struggle with questioning my own noble pursuit of pleasing God. I want to seek God and walk in Obedience to Him. Have Him find me pleasing. God the Father audibly proclaimed his pleasure in His Son. As we are found in Christ and covered by the redemptive blood He shed on the Cross. God speaks those same words over us. You are His beloved child in whom He is pleased.

Pleasing God is when we return a portion of our blessing to someone else to help bless them, whether it be a financial matter, need of visit or Prayer or caring for the sick, looking after the old people, seeing that their needs are met, and Praising God always giving Him the Praise and Glory He desires for all He has done for all of us. We serve a Mighty God, and He Loves us all with so much Mercy and Grace. I Love the Lord Jesus Christ, because He First Loved Me.

I have a question I'd love for someone to try and answer for me. Is any sin any greater? I'm sure you've heard the saying " you'll go to hell for lying just as well as stealing".....You know how some people are always talking about the thief and druggie but will tell one lie to cover another yet they think they are better?
I would seriously love for someone to try and answer my question. I'm a sinner but a believer and lover of God.

so sad,I have heard that also. Its not a commandment, all men are liars. Some sins have to be paid with shedding of our own blood. Such a killing another person, we somewhere and time have to die also for it. forgivness doesen't cut it on that one. So since all sins are against GODs commandments, to break one, is to be a Sinner. Of course all people don't commit the same sin, but all fall short of being perfect. JESUS said I give you a new commandment, that YOU love your brother as yourself. That doesen't mean we have to keep company with bad people, but have love for them, and feel sorry they are lost. And pray for them if its in your heart to. Real answers to every Religious question, takes the person knowledgeable in GOD, extensively. Not many can give the perfect answer.

If this will help you and answer your question. The Bible teaches and I haven't got the scripture in front of me, but there is a SIN that man cannot be forgiven for, this sin is the unpardonable SIN that man can commit and according to God's Word, cannot be forgiven. When a man or woman denys the Power of God, which is called the Holy Ghost Power. Refusing to believe in any Power God has. This is Blasphemy and becomes a sin of abomination to ones SOUL, causing them to be separated from God. God will not forgive this sin. It is in the Bible and when I can find where I will post. All other sins can be forgiven by God through Repentence.

I have heard this too but for some reason I thought blasphemy meant something different. Do you mean to say or acknowledge that God does not have full control and power blasphemy? If that's what you're saying then I've never been guilty of that sin.
I have read the bible completely through....Old and New Revelations KJV but there was so many things I didn't understand. Myself I think God knows what's in our hearts, therefore He knows whether I know I'm sinning. Does that make sense?

We all sin and fall short of the Glory of God. Even after we become saved, we still have to ask Gpd for forgiveness on a daily bases, because none of us are perfect. But, to be saved is a desire in one's heart to accept Jesus Christ and believe upo Him, asking Him to forgive you of all your past and present sins. Then, because of our reprntence of our sins, we want to take on a new nature, and want to change from our old self to becoming more like God would want us to be. By this, we begin to read His Word and learn of Him and His ways, and how we are to live a christian life before God. After one become saved, they want to do right and God makes them aware of any sin they might commit. We become aware of right from wrong very quickly, cause God through His Holy Spirit shows us if we do wrong, and need to repent. Blasphemy means a lack of Reverence to God. To deny the Power of God is Blasphemy. God tells us we are to live by the Ten Commandments. None of us are perfect , and God knows this, but because of His Mercy and Grace on our lives, He is willing to forgive us when we sin. BUT! You must remember, we have to be Born again, meaning inviting God into our life to dwell with us. Believing upon the Blood Sacrifice of the SON of GOD on the old Wooden Cross. Only this way can one be saved and go to Heaven. Sorrow for the lengthy post. Hope it helps you to uderstand.

Also, until you are saved by God's Mercy and Grace, you cannot fully understand and interpet His Word, because through Praying and asking God for understanding, then we begin to receive the wisdom God would have us to know. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things written in the Bible by inspired men of God. Rhe KJV Bible is the Bible I read.

Rev.21-8...... "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and (all liars), shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
