why can a crazy man do this and the school is not evacuated. no parents are informed? pineville grade school is a joke when it comes to security. the principal there needs to grow a backbone and do something and stop being afraid to piss people off. what is it going to take? a child getting hurt or worse?

I know the guy who did this. He is a little "off" but not in the dangerous sense of the word. He is more pathetic than anything else. He is harmless, but did, in fact, make the comment about blowing up the school. Nothing really needed to be done about it that has not been done already - even the authorities charging the man know that he truly poses no real threat - but in this day and age, you just cannot go around saying these things. There was no reason to evacuate - that would have been an extreme over-reaction. The guy is really all bark and no bite, but you'd have to know the situation to understand that. The principal of that school is a good man and a good principal with the best interests of the students foremost in his mind. An evacuation would have unnecessarily upset people when there really was no actual danger - just a blow hard trying to make trouble.

Yes I know him as well and I agree. He is a little off but he is all talk. He would never actually do such a thing.

If someone threatens to blow the school up . someone better By Crackies call me and get m kids out of there . I understand that maybe the man wasnt all there or what ever . but still this is how kids get hurt when people dont want tp upset the community . When my children are involved I want to know . Schools are not safe anymore and the sad thing is that it does not have to come from outside the school anymore some kids are just as Dangerous . Scares me .. to even think of what could happen to our kids in this day and time/as i do understand that maybe the guy was harmless. byt parents do have the right to know! just my thought.

How expensive would it be, to install surveilance cameras all over the school? That might cover this man's child being bullied as well as whatever the man said/did... In fact.. if a camera showed what went on with the bullying.. it might never have come down to him thinking he had to come to the school. If I had kids.. I think I would be so grateful that film would be saved each day.. and shown- to know the truth of EVERY situation. It would show the innocence or guilt of whatever the situation was.

I just found this online......all I can say is I wished they would quit allowing people to pack in front of the school at 3 pm...I have seen mothers ask how there kids got out and no one seen them....no matter how innocent it may have been it could have been a disaster

He was banned from school property..He has a son that attend there and they brought him to school each day. My little girl attends there and I think Mr. Clay is a good and descent man that does all he can to protect the children. He knew this was no threat to our children. He wants the parents to enter and exit through from doors and to check in at office and if you have to go in the school for any reason or to visit your child on the playground you have to check in at office to get a school pass. Pineville Grade is a wonderful school. My little girl has had graet teachers and from my understanding she has a great one this year also. They learn our kids very well. Sometimes the problem rest on the parents because they havent grown up yet. They make mountains out of mole hills.

checking in at the front office at the school, or any public school is a matter of state law. But it is up to the individual schools to enforce that law.

Anyone who knows who this person was, surely realizes that he is somewhat mentally handicapped,as his son is also. However he has never been known to be dangerous, bothersome, maybe. He was upset about his son and I give Mr. Clay enough credit to know how to handle him and any situation concerning him.I am sure in this day and time if someone who may be in the very least a threat;the teachers and Mr. Clay would be ontop of the situation.Yes we all worry and anything could happen but in this case,it was different.Anyone who has been around this person would realize,he talks alot,no one was in danger. Thank God.
