Please do not talk about coal trucks or four wheelers on this site.... We may be able to sweep this accident under the rug......

If these coal truck drivers would stay off these cell phones and pay attention to the roads and quit flying down Horsepen things like this wouldn't happen.

I just hope the truck drive was drug tested. Joan you are set for life. Want a trucking company? It's yours. The driver in the yellow tandum truck will be the next one to Fu@k up. He drives like it's the last load of coal in the county.

Its ashame we can't drug test people on checks. SSI/Workers Comp/ Unemployment. I wonder how many people would still be on checks after a random UA?

if it was the last load that would be the end of your check seems like to me that this is all that you have to do is set on here and post comments about stuff that you think that you know what you are talking about but we all know that it is just you blowing air out of your ass so get a life or get a job...a real job not one setting on your ass flipping the remote channels back and forth on the couch...and furthermore what happened this morning was an accident...but then again i forgot that you are perfect and you have never had an accident before so get your facts straight before you go and post something about what you do not know.

Jody's driver (RB) said the school bus lost its brakes and he swerved to miss it and koboom it happened. And he thought the bus driver needed to be drug tested.

the bus drivers get randm testing but whoever took the pics and sent them to channel 3 the pics told the whole story the coal truck was all the way accross the yellow line and the bus was in the ditch trying to get away from him..

Its easy for you to get on here and blame the coal truck driver. Why don't you find out the truth before you run your mouth, you just base it on assumption and hearsay. The trucks steering went out nothing you can do to steer a truck like that when it is loaded. not the drivers fault. I believe both drivers received about the same amount of injuries.i feel bad for both of them, wish it never happened. I can only imagine what went thru truck drivers mind knowing he was going to hit that bus not knowing if any kids were on the bus and knowing he couldn't help it. I just hope instead of you getn on here talking about people and assuming things that you just pray for them and that they have a speedy recovery

These junky-ass coal trucks need to be sited and taken off the road if they are unsafe to drive. So now we have to drive on the road knowing that they are an accident waiting to happen.

You must be a damn check case yourself because a good person would be worried about her injuries instead of what she could have by sueing a working mans company. This is pitful that you could even think of such shit. She should just be thankful that she is alive and if she does wrong she could not be so lucky next time. Just sit back and think about what happens to the ones that does wrong...it comes back and usually worse.

Every motor vehicle, be it truck, bus, car or van can have problems appear at anytime. That does not mean they are unsafe to have on the road. Who knows, maybe you will have a blow out or your brakes give out or power steering pump go out, lets pray this never happens to you. But this is a fact of life, things like this happen and you have to handle it the best way you know how to do it.

god this truely shows the education level here. you are more than welcome to walk up to any bus driver or truck driver in the gilbert area and ask them and i guarantee you they tell you they use the radio to comunicate back and forward with each other ,when a bus goes to stop and get a child or let off a child they will radio to the truck drivers where they are stopping so the drivers will be prepared to stop and have ample time to stop his loaded truck safely.and also the truckdrivers call out to the bus to find out where abouts they are stopping so they are prepared. true what happened was a very scary ,bad situation.but in all honesty the steering locked up on the truck and it happened as he was entering the curve and noooooo it isnt barely possible to turn a wheel on a loaded truck without powersteering.think about it k ,if the driver was flyin like you all wanna cry,how did he stop that loaded truck in such a short distance,i was there i saw the scene ,i drive a tractor ,and i know if he was truely flying he would have went through that bus like it was butter and never had stopped still settin just across the center line . you simply can not stop a load that short at speed. from what i am told by her fellow workers, joan is doing ok ,she has a brace on her wrist and is bruised from her seatbelt. and the driver of the truck had a concusion from the impact but both are ok thank god.i commend both the drivers personaly, if it werent for the busdriver noticing the situation at hand and taking apropriate measure to try avoid him and him bowing up on the brakes so hard and fast ,this could have seriousely been a whole lot worse.
