I know Ann. Her lawyer, William Tetterton, took $40,000 to represent her and then did precious little on this case. The facts are that Ann confronted Woodrow with the intent of committing suicide, but Woodrow grabbed the gun in an attempt to wrestle it from her. This caused the gun to discharge, killing Woodrow.

At most, she should have only been convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter. There's no way that this could have been Voluntary Manslaughter, for that crime requires the element of "Heat of Passion." Such a crime usually occurs in instances such as a spouse coming home and finding their spouse in bed with someone else, and then the jilted spouse murders either the spouse or lover....or both! In any case, the crime would have to have been committed while the defendant did not have time to cool off. But since the 11th Circuit Solicitors Office didn't have a case for murder, they insisted on a guilty plea to a crime that was not supported by the facts.

Bottom line, at most Ann should have been convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter, and sentenced to no more than 5 years.

You need the German law and the German Constitution!
This is not possible in Germany with German rights.
