Parents always want to make sure their kids are happy.. so they cave in to their sweet little faces/voices and allow them to do almost anything they ask.
They obviously never heard of "tough love"... now because of their inability to say no... they will be planning his funeral. Either way... PRAYERS TO THEM. I hope this was a learning lesson. For whatever reasons... now, they have been given some "tough love"

Man, like many have said, Byron was a great guy. He was one of my best friends at my youth group. I can't wait to see him again.
Just wanted to let you know that in honor of Byron, a film has been produced called "Journey to the Major Leagues". The part of Byron is played by one of his best friends, Adam Windham.
You can see it on YouTube by searching for "Byron Martin".

I am surprised nobody, including the media is saying anything about the possiblity of alcohol being involved and the way older female passenger that was in the car with him, who from what I understand happens to be a bartender at the establishment they left from in the town of Lexington. I hope the government and media folks don't let these facts slide by so that this horrible and sad incident is not used also as a learning lesson to our young folks, like all the other underaged drinking incidents have been in the past, who might be forced with the same decisons as this young man was. I am assured this young man was an outstanding and well liked fella with a bright future but unfortunately in todays society our young people are facing tougher adult situations as children and we must prepare them for the day they will have to face such incidents. When it is proven that alcohol was indeed a contributing factor to this incident I hope our government's law enforcement will not let us down and bring forth all those contributing to this incident, whether it be a business or a victims own family member, to justice.
We must keep the family and this young man in our thoughts and prayers as well as our government must continue stringent enforcement of our underaged drinking problems society is facing and bringing justice to the people who continue to contribute to this problem in order to prevent things like this from happening again and more frequently.
ok this person can shut up! thank you.

I believe the Martin family understands that they made a mistake, so stop rubbing it in their faces. Honestly, they need our support not our input. Keep your thoughts to yourself, Byron was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met and from what I have heard, their family is amazing as well. So show this family some love and prayers, and keep comments to yourselves. Thanks.
FIRST OF ALL you sound like a total ass. byron was the most amazing frenn anyone could for.first of all im pretty sure when you were 16 you were out late and if your a teen im pretty sure you are out late.second it sounds like you dont know byron at all an i really dont think you should be commenting on his accident.byron was one of my bestfrenn and was always there for me and i honestly think you should keep your damn thoughts to your own self:)

It really amazes me how people can be so harsh to others at a time like this one. It is highly ridiculous. Who CARES whether they knew the person in and out or not.

seriosly ur opinion probably doesnt even affect the martin family. byron was an amazing guy and didnt deserve to die, but things happen for a reason..He is a much better place than here. its still hard to deal with his loss. but keep your ignorant comments to your self. it was no ones fault. we all love and miss byron

TOMMY, allow me to let you in on a little secret... we both agree to alot ... as long as it is not a racial issue....we cool.
Byron was my big brother and I dont give a hell what yall think. He was an amazing person, and my parents are "tough" and the best in the world. and just because he was driving at 10:30 at night does not mean anything, we had just left my uncles birthday dinner. it was an ACCIDENT. he never planned on dying and he always wore his seatbelt. so whenever you loose your big brother/best friend... then you can say what you think but until then, you have no clue what its like.
