With only 14 troopers working all of Lex. County what do you expect. The Highway Patrol is so politically correct promoting butt-kissers that the good ones leave and there is no one left to enforce the law. The Highway Patrol (HP) is broken from top down. The Commander of the HP is a Retired FBI agent. What does a retired FBI agent know about traffic law, etc.
Lets hire more patrol officers with better pay and get better leadership and I think we will see a change in this statistic.

People need to be a litte more smarter when it comes to drinking... if you are going out and you know you going to drink... bring someone with you that you can trust that won't drink so both of you can make it home safe... or call someone to pick you up...taking a big risk driving drunk...not only your life in danger but others who are on the road around you are also....

You have to understand that law enforcement is a two way balancing act.

Number 1: If law enforcement hung out at every establishment that serves alcohol, probably 98% would be convicted of public drunkness or DUI once they got in their cars.

Number 2: Law enforcement will not hang out at every establishment that serves alcohol because that is where the State and counties gets most of their tax revenues.

So what do they choose to do? Have DUI stops on back roads or way away from businesses. Otherwise, the businesses would have to close down thus cut off a valuable source of funding.

You think drinking affects only whites? Look at what Malt Liquor has done to blacks. Disproportionate crime rate, dropout rate, single parent rate, and lower IQ's. They have consumed so much Mad Dog that the entire race thinks decorating their teeth with gold is a good idea...

First of all they need to be able to go after the jerk at the Family Mart for selling alchohol to people that are already intoxicated. Last I heard it's illegal. But try locking him up for it!!! He is protected by the same law that supposed to protect the fine people that live in that area from being killed by drunk drivers. So maybe if they changed the legislature that protects the people like him that don't care who they endanger just to make a buck selling alchohol. Well I guess your all screwed until someone opens their eyes. Maybe some drunk will kill him or someone in his family and he can see how it feels. Been there, I already know... Maybe they should do an investigation into how long he's owned a liquor licsense and when the rise in alcohol related death took such a sharp turn for the worse. I for one would like to see that report and get some answers as to why he's still allowed to have a licsense to kill! How about it congressmen, are you willing to let this person keep selling alcohol to intoxicated people and get away with it? The next victim may be you or one of your loved ones. If not then you may as well take the law off the books since it's obviously not enforced. No sense in giving people false hopes of protection.
