[Terrible Employees]

The doctors are fine but the office workers are TERRIBLE. One girl in particular, Natalie, is extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to ask her a simple request and she, in return, gave me extreme attitude. All I wanted to do was change a phone number - this was my FOURTH time asking the office workers to switch it and I told her that, I told her it was ridiculous that I had to call a fourth time - which she must've taken offense to and she said "I am deleting it, bye!" and I said "Whoa, whoa" before she hung up on me and I told her she couldn't delete him, he's a current patient (thinking deleting = whole file) and she said, in a really rude and harsh tone "I am NOT deleting his appointment, I am DELETING the PHONE NUMBER... BYE" and I said "EXCUSE ME?" and she said "WHAT?!" and I asked her "Um, don't you need a new contact number? You're being a little ridiculous" and she HUNG UP ON ME! That is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL for a doctors office! I called back and the other receptionist was trying to cover for her friend - I finally got the name out of her and had to ask THREE times to speak to someone higher than her - she kept asking if SHE could help me and I got fed up and I said "I need to speak to someone higher than you NOW!!" I was beyond livid, I was shaking from the anger... I finally talked to the office manager who seemed nice and I tried my very best to talk calmly to her - to tell her everything that happened... she told me it would be taken care of and that Dr. Brown doesn't appreciate his workers treating his patients like that and neither does she... hopefully they did something about this Natalie girl instead of just acting like they would - she needs a HUGE attitude adjustment and maybe someone telling her that was unacceptable will help.

I had a great experience with this doctors office. I hadn't been able to run intensively for years due to foot and knee pain. Turns out all of the pain in my hips and knees and feet were as a result of a collapsed arch that threw everything else off. Dr. Brown and his staff were wonderful and took great care of me.

By the way, I did ask Dr. Brown about the other review on this website, and he said the problem was addressed "immediately" and disciplinary action was taken to ensure that patients were always treated superb.

This office is GREAT! The staff has always been very helpful, even going as far as not accepting my payment until I called the ins company to dispute them not paying.
The office staff is very friendly and gets me an appointment almost immediatly, often next day!!
I highly recommend this Doctor and his office!!

I have tried for six weeks to get a refund of $568 overpayment to this office. Each phone call brings assurance that "the check will be mailed today". Nothing shows up! Will I have to take them to Small Claims Court?

I had a great experience with this doctors office. My daughter had be having problems with her feet.Turns out all of the pain in her feet and knees were as a result of her arch that threw everything else off. Dr. Brown and his staff were wonderful and took great care my daughter. After her treatment was completed she was able to play softball with no feet problems. Thank you for the great work!!!!

Dr. Brown had license suspended 4/27/09. He was involved in a one vehicle accident 4/16/09 and cited for DUI and was under the influence of prescription drugs. The police report shows he had a BAC over 4 times the legal limit. Dr. Brown continued to operate and perform surgeries up until 4/27/09 despite being advised of a hearing to review his license; he was notified 4/21/09. There is also disturbing information about Dr. Brown and improperly receiving prescription medications in 2008 and was suspected of being impaired on the job. This is all public information and can be found by going to the state podiatry board and public criminal records.

[QUESTION the QUESTIONABLE]

I found it ironic that a patient would propose to have such detailed information, as noted on the above posting from "Avoid". This sounds more like a malicious attack on Dr. Brown by a competitor or vindictive individual than someone looking out for others' wellbeing. I personally spoke to Dr. Brown about the "Avoid" posting. Although he admits to making some mistakes in his personal life, I believe it has not entered his professional life. I have experienced stellar care from Dr. Brown and his staff. He and his staff have always been professional and highly skilled. I would put I and my children's care in his capable, gifted hands AGAIN and AGAIN. Perhaps people who live in glass houses should not throw STONES. Who hasn't made mistakes in their life? God forbid if we all had to air our dirty laundry. It always smells, regardless of our profession.
