And, exactly how much have you contributed to these charities in the past? This is like my goldfish telling me he's never going to change a tire on my car.

"To the person who wrote about Palin's pay from FOX - it is none of your business - you do not pay her salary nor are you paying for her bus tour. The tour is to show us what a great country we have."

No, the Palin bus tour is about publicity for Sarah and more donations for her political ambitions. Every time she opened her mouth about American history, she showed how little she knew about the subject. As for Obama's travels, he is doing what all presidents do, improve relations with other countries. He is working, not on vacation, when he visits world leaders.

And as is par for the course, it takes Jon Stewart to bring the trip into true focus. As funny and irrelevant as she is, she's remains the MILF!

Watch the video: http://www.rawstory.com/rawreplay/2011/06/ste...

Stewart: Palin bus tour video like herpes medication ad
“Apparently, she was traveling with her Macbook Pro, because Palin and her Political Action Committee have turned around and in just one week produced the most over-produced vacation iMovie of all time,” Stewart proclaimed.

“She’s not running for President, she’s running for Rushmore,” he said after reviewing the video.“The video seems to detail how she immigrated to this great nation before she signed the Constitution, she rang the Liberty Bell, and she killed a man at Altamont.”

Stewart then noted that reporters featured in the video finished each other’s sentences just like a recent Valtrex ad.

“The old ‘finishing-each-others-sentenc es-herpes-commercial’ technique,” he observed.

Judy Bloom is just an example of those people who can not make a comment without using namecalling techniques.
Her memory is short since she cannot recall the trips that Bush made during his 8 years in office. He took the month of August to hide in Crawford and have the news media installed behind that rundown shed to do any reporting.
This country, with the aid of Judy and too many others, is headed to become a country of hatred, prejudice and a lack of concern for fellow citizens.

You people from New Mexico just don't get it! You see that the state of New Mexico is in the toilet! And you still think Democrats are the best. I'm not here to judge anybody, but read your bible 1 Samuel 8:15 and you will see where this politicians stand with the people, they don't care about us! They care about their pockets.

True all presidents in the past have travelled abroad to attempt to maintain a positve relationship. The difference between them and Obama is other Presidents talked about the greatness of America. They did not bow to anyone or kiss anyone backside. Obama takes every opportunity to degrade the United States, its people and its greatness. Hell, he even does it when he is speaking to special interest groups to garner votes. As he did in El Paso when sucking up to Mexicans.

I hesitate to speak for another poster, but I think that TooBad's point is that "MILF" is a pejorative that objectifies a woman and reduces her to a mere sex object, which is behavior characteristic of sexists or misogynists. Sexists and misogynists are types of bigots, and you mark yourself as such when you use the term "MILF." Regardless of her gender or appearance, Palin is a dummy and a nut-job, and I’m sure you can come up with a way to make that point without appearing misogynistic.

My 17 comment stayed, yet the follow-up vanished. Interesting because I simply stated on #18 something to this effect:

Before anyone comes on hear accusing me of bigotry, I stated that Obama is just like a sock-monkey and no more than a puppet.

To whoever is getting all the comments removed, I can picture you now: with a tiny mustache, a swastika on your sleeve, and your boots marching in lock step. This is the USA not Nazi Germany.

Why are people's comments disappearing? I just finished reading some forums for the past week (Sound Off and Letter to the Editor) and several comments were removed. What bothers me about the comments being censored is that it appears to be only if they disagree with someone's views. I've read comments today by various people being rude like on this one. The first comment was not much other than gossip. People that spoke out about it ended up with their comments removed. But on this forum I've seen two people use a derogatory and vulgar reference (Placitas Roy & M Pearce), but their comments remain. What's driving the difference in treatment? Is this paper only for liberals? If not, it sure seems that way.

As for why your 2nd comment was removed, maybe it was because it set things straight. By removing it, maybe the person or persons getting the comments taken off were hoping that others would call you a racist or a bigot. Whatever the reason people are doing this just shows that they don't act any more adult than the people tossing out insults.

And what is misogynistic about abbreviating "Moron I'd Like to Forget?" BTW: I do agree with your assessment of the MILF.
I suspect that you know that that is not the commonly accepted meaning of that acronym. If you don't, you should google it, but it's not a search safe to do at work or around good company. The commonly accepted meaning of that acronym is obscene and disrespectful to women.

Roy, I honestly don't think you are a misogynist, but your attempt to be clever comes across as sexist and bigoted towards women. Palin offers up plenty of legitimate opportunities for criticism without one's needing to stoop to veiled jabs at her looks and gender. You're smart enough that you shouldn't need to stoop.

What in the hell does the release of MILF's e-mails have to do with her PAC financed bus trip?
Take's a friggin' teabagger to confuse the MILF's bus trip and Paul Rever's balls with e-mails.
I would think if that is really what you meant it as, you would put it in all your comments that you use that acronym. The fact that you are using another one on here now in this comment makes me less inclined to believe you.

Again, why are your comments allowed to stay just like the other people doing like you? I've read several Sound Off forums and Letters to the Editor, and there are others that are doing this too. It's disturbing to me because there seems to be a double standard.

Wow, you're the pot calling the kettle black. On your comment #25 you said, "Palin is a dummy and a nut-job." That's not any better. You want others to speak with respect and you show none. Just because you don't agree with her politics, you resort to that type of description. I can think of far better words to get that point across.

Dummy and nut-job are general terms and not reflective of gender, race, sexual orientation or other common targets of bigotry. It probably would have been more diplomatic to say that Palin says stupid and/or crazy things. I apologize if I offended you, I was trying to illustrate the fact that one can be disparaging about a public figure without resorting to such bigoted terms. And I believe that the 1st Amendment allows us to be disparaging towards public figures.

By the way, while I do like some things about Palin, it is my honest opinion that she is not smart enough to president. It is also my opinion that she is a little unbalanced and an irrational decision maker. Your opinion may vary.

Don't give PR credit (or blame) for thinking up this version of MILF. A quick google search led me to Democratic Underground, where it appears that someone put this version of MILF on a placard when Palin visited Asheville, NC, in October '08:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/...

Then Bill Maher used it on Leno in November '08:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/...

That said, I will hold my nose and vote for Palin if and only if the alternative is reelecting Pres Obama. Palin lost my support when she walked out on her job as Alaska's governor.
