I remember a Tina Johnson. I will try to ask about her, because that was one great person, and she was from a great family of good people. Even though it is probably not the same person as you named, now that you did mention the same name, you brought back some special memories, and now I will ask about her, too. Thanks.

GHS Alumni wrote: This is a tribute to some of the people I went to school with and have lost: Sandy Spears Lee, Jon Winston, Jimmy Rudkin, Mike Montgomery, Billy Schneider, David Dement and Mark Shock. They were taken so young and are missed. Please add a tribute for any other GHS Students that have not been mentioned. Most of us grew up together more like brothers and sisters. David Ellsworth, Curtis Coleman, Joe Murphy were all tragically killed in the same car accident in 1975 and Jimmie (Lil Bo) Wingo was killed in a car accident a few years later. Also Steve Evans passed away a couple of years ago. Rita Huckaby and her son, Joshua Bell were killed in an auto accident in 1992. Josh was only 12 yrs. old. Ryan Smith (2004 graduate) was also tragically killed in an auto accident in 2005 Jimmy Rudkin was my little brother and I love and miss him everyday. Thank you so much for starting this tribute to all GHS students who had their lives taken too soon.

People still miss those young folks who died in that accident. And mention them yet.

I can empathize with you. The wound cut deep with us when one of my siblings was in a car accident and two of the young people died that were in the car. It is something you never forget, and you think of it and miss them. I know.

And your post is an excellent example of showing respect and kindness to one and all? Think someone needs to send you a copy of "Miss Manners." This thread should be bumped and kept at the top, IMHO. Perhaps you helped inadvertently, and without realizing that you, too, or part of the tapestry of "anything bump." Stay nice. Stay cordial. Read the Terms of Service, exactly below each post you make. Thank you.
