that place is a dump too many illegals there...
Not saying illegals are a good thing, but there are plenty of towns where there are tons of illegals and the economy is really good. If that doesn't convince you just look at it from a bigger perspective Arizona.^.^ Once their bill passed to "randomly" ID citizens-families moved. Housing market went down etc.
It's amazing how Texas has so much illegals, and yet when all other states were faltering we managed to uphold our economy and at the same time have job opportunities. Could it be illegals/ undocumented workers are a good thing..

I came to Luling over 30 years ago I have watched them lose their beautiful movie theatre, the quirky but fun skating riink and most people I know have witnessed the thump become A DUMP! The parks need to to be constantly maintained but they arent. Now why not repair the northside pool and its clubhouse instead of "pulling the plug"? Hmmm....where can I say @ the schools? Well TEA lives there now...what does that that tell you?

It tells me that you should leave and in doing so our community would improve. You sound like one of those that sits around and complains but probably doesn't lift a finger to help make things better. Do something positive today you will feel better about yourself and your community.

Well not a word you printed is true. I guess our visions are completey different. I want Luling to thrive and it looks like you and many others are satisfied with the ststus quo. How sad.

If your desire is to see Luling thrive then we are very much alike and have the same vision. Please accept my apology and let's continue to work to make Luling a better place. I am not a fan of the status quo.

That is a very good question! How do we change apathetic attitudes?

I think Luling is what you make of it. If you don't like something, work to change it. It gets easier when you find people who agree with you and now you have a movement.
