That should never had happen. Where was the supervision and the person running the shift at the time. Or better yet maybe they need to find some staff members who can conduct order to these children. What a shame on the Administrator's and staff on duty. Just be glad nobody was hurt or escaped. This could have been alot worse.

You really need to do your homework on texas juvenil justice, before you go pointing your finger.

Well, it must have been a corrections facility full of retards. Who escapes and climbs a tree? It's like running up stairs if someone is chasing you. Up stairs only leads to one place and it is a dead end.

I am thinking this is more of a prank than an escape plan.

I am a former juvi corrections officer and I'll tell you from experience those kids are sharp as tacks. They have mastered the distraction technique and made it an art. This prank was most likely a distraction to cover something else that was happening on the side. For those who think they're all punks and thugs let me give you something to chew on. My dorm had 40 boys of the 40 boys 39 had no positive father or father figure in thier lives. The one that did was just a butt head that got caught being stupid. So before you write these kids off maybe it'd be better to pray for them and try and help them. I tried showing them respect and it worked pretty good.
