Middle school teacher arrested for DUI

A Tomlin Middle School teacher is facing felony charges of drinking and driving.

Mr.Roberts was a good teacher to some. He was a very good science teacher and did very good morning shows for Tomlin. Yet if he came to school that way just think what would have happened to the students.

He put them in danger.

It states in the news story this was his fourth DUI. He has a serious drinking problem that over rides his value as a teacher. He does not value the people he serves as much as he values his drinking and driving.

MR. Roberts was one of the best teachers i ever had. he knew how to make learning fun and i think everyone should be praying for him hes going through a tough time. Hes made some mistakes but havent we all?? Im praying for you roberts!

i never had him as a teacher but i went to that school and he was so fun and nice people really need to pray for him because because like robertsstudent11 said we all make mistake.

Many of us make mistakes and we must all learn from them. What can we say? We're human and God forbid a teacher gets a DUI and it's all over the news but if it was a normal citizen people wouldn't care and make a big deal about it. Many of you have no room to talk because you havn't met him and got to know him personally. He was such a wonderful and loving guy. I can't force any of you to pray for him but I know I will for sure. I know for sure that he didn't do the job for the pay he did his job for the love of teaching. So for you guys to make a big deal about it I feel sorry for you because you don't know the real side of this man.

If, as has been repored, this is his 4th DUI, then the reason he worked at any job was to keep a stream of money so as to continue his addiction. And, anyone, including the school officials that were aware of his problem or, like you are doing, continue to make excuses for him, are enabling him to continue a death march for himself and possibly others.

mr.roberts was and still is awesome he is in my prayers and its not like hes the first teacher to make a mistake i mean if you look around theres teachers having sex with there students! stop ragging on him!!! everybody makes a mistake and nowhere is it written that a teacher cant drink he got under the influence and probbalbly had some really bad freinds but o well he never came to school drunk!!! he was always serious and you would only get into trouble when you were at fault this guy is really awesome and dont judge a book buy its cover!!! well what i think that mr.roberts was drinkin cause he had aproblem that maybe he thought he could fix it by drinking but that still dont make it clear cause of him going drivin while drinking. i mean come on im 1 of his student and we're all sad ...also he might think that he let us down {maybe} but we still love him and if he dont come back we will still think of him. we are all sure in tomlin that he wont be coming back to his teaching experince 4 2 reason ....1 cause probaly he might fell emberresd to go and 2 cause dame his 4 DUI we should all still have him in our prayers like olivia said cause we do all miss him and you people might think less or bad at the tomlin school but u should'nt cause that shcool is very cool!...
