Deputies: Tampa Man, Teen Girl Had Sexual Relationship

Richard Scolaro, 32, met a 13-year-old girl while he worked at Westfield Brandon mall and carried on a relationship with her for several months, Hillsborough County deputies said.

I happen to know him and the entirety of the situation and it was not all on him. He did not stalk this girl, she approached him. And have you seen 13 year olds these day...they don't look 13. Do you ask someones age everytime you meet them...no! I have a 14 year old that has been around him since she was born and I would never have a problem with him being around her. He is not like that...you never know the full story unless you know the person. you should get your facts straight before spouting off at the mouth.

What a dumbass. Now his life is ruined forever lol. That is what masturbation is for... to fantasize about anything you want , without risk of your freedom being taken away. He looks like a good looking guy , that would have no problem meeting legal age women. Did this guy screw up bigtime. I am glad the "childs" grandmother did the right thing and called authorities.

Thats the reason we have laws like this because at younger ages people do not know any better and its up to the adult to be responsible. I just get angry when femal predators get off with no jail time at all. That is clearly UNEQUAL distribution of punishment... A violation of our constitution.

Her grandmother would have done the right thing if they had gotten this girls shit together the first time before she cornered my friend. this girl was messed up and doing stupid crap before SHE ever approched ricky

It's not just her, though. Its the downfall of society. It's the 13-year-old's fault, it's the 32-year-old's fault, it the media's fault for selling sex any way they can, its the parent's fault for not watching their daughter close enough, the guy's parent's fault for not instilling the right values while parenting, etc...
