I only wish I had been able to join the protest against corporate greed in Pittsburgh and would have marched alongside my sister, Georgeanne Koehler. I had to take my other sister for her dialysis treatment which needs to come first. Corporate greed is destroying this country and people around the world are having similar problems. We now have low-paying or no jobs, high prices for everything, many without health insurance, jobs going overseas to the lowest bidder, extreme discontent. The motto for this country should be "survival of the richest" with huge amounts being spent on medical technology that many people will not be able to afford. Who will the elite class hire for slave wages then?

Poor people really hate people who've made a success of themselves.

And so you need to let go of your hate, get off your ass in front of the computer, and DO SOMETHING!

It wouldn't be legal to "vacate" the protesters.

This group is really sad. And mis-informed to say the least. They camp out to protest corporate greed and capitalism while they drink starbucks and use their smart phones and laptops, all created through capitalism and opportunity. They protest 2 banks in pittsburgh. One who returned the TARP money that their own government forced them to accept, the other who spent the money and bought a failing bank, and saveed thousands their jobs. They want the Rich taxed more than everyone else. Yet do they not do their research to see that they pay a huge share. I want to ask, "once you take all the rich's money away, then where will get the money from?"
They are mad that people bought houses they couldn't afford, so they blame a bank who was forceby the gov't to give loans to low income families. You are marching to the wrong beat my friends. Sad taht we call them americans. There is now personal responsibility in the world

The person by the name of Hmmm, please elaborate. And Mike Anthony, if you are part of the 1% in America you would not waste your time on topix. You would probably own a television station, news paper, or something of the sort. What you dumbies are missing is that it's not the hard hats vs the hippies anymore. A lot of unions support OWL because they recognize that things are not right. I don't think that you will find many unemployed people in a union. I understand differences in opinion but my friend you have Internet access, you can look up the figures on the gap in wealth in America today at your own perusal. That gap in wealth allows a select few to be the only hands in control at the levers of power. So, sign off foxnews.com for a minute or two and stop voting against your own interests. Unless you are some vapid multi-billionaire.

And you are a fool. Get a job and get a life and stop asking for handouts! Instead of carrying stupid signs, try going to work!

Your argument makes you sound like a ten year old. Without name calling and assumption your post would be blank. I do hold down a job even though I'm in need of surgery on my back. I ask for no handouts. However, BofA just got done back dooring their way into another bailout.

So, please re-aim your arms because all you're doing is fighting against your own interests. Unless you are some billionaire.

I'm not wealthy but I worked for what I have as did the wealthy people. Get off your fat butt and work 2 or 3 jobs and maybe you'll be wealthy someday. Why should the rich help you out!! I'm sure you are an Obama lover. Hopefully, he's out on the street next year!

One Question... Why are they protesting in cities like Pgh, and not ALL in DC????? DC is where the root of the problem is. Go sorround the WH with millions and then you may get your voice heard. They are all an office joke everday in cities like ours.
