Gettysburg SD radar station

Does anyone here know anything about the old gettysburg radar station about 4 miles north of town? Any info would be helpful.

i was stationed their in 57 & 58 it closed in 59 or 60 i think.

Its listed for sale on Ebay. Look in Real Estate, other.

It just sold a couple of days ago. It went for $36,000.

I WAS STATIIONED THERE 56-58.
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER TOM SANDERS,STATIONED THERE,MARRIED A LOCAL GAL, RITA? MARRIED ABOUT '56. HAVE LOST TRACK OF THEM.

Information from 903rd vet B Kohl: Wish I knew. He was our best man at our wedding!!!! He married Rita Cass. Don't know about her either. I think he was from a little town of Lilly Pa. We were married Dec 1, 1956. Mmarried 52 years last Dec. So he is about 74 or so like Bernie. If you ever hear, please let us know. Possibly Joanne Cass that works at the hospital in Gburg may know something.

to 1959 when I went to Elsworth. I cant remember
