I am glad to say that the renderings really look great. You can tell that your group put in countless hours on the design and feel for the casino and you really made it a point to keep it traditional, rustic and very much appealing. It really will blend well with the surrounding areas and themes. NICE JOB !

Looks great! A place to vacation for everyone. Love traveling to casino resorts all over USA. Always enjoy all the places around the casino, most people don't gamble all the time they are at a casino resort.

Great looking rendering. Didn't see any hookers in the drawings though?

Looks great! Maybe now we can put to rest the No Casino speculation that this is going to be a "slots barn".

It does not matter how much you try to dress it up, it is still a casino and its purpose is to make the owners rich off the backs of Adams Countians who will spend their hard-earned dollars there, again and again. It will bring addiction and increased crime, not necessarily on the premises but in the community as people who were otherwise not addicted become pathological gamblers. More fundamentally, it is a dishonor to the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg.

This will be the best thing to happen in Adams County since sliced bread. Ncg people have yet to see it advantages to the economy but they are a bit "That Way"

I forgot there is no-one addicted to the PA lottery, Bingo at local Fire Halls and Churches or online gaming. By the looks of the recent headlines crime is already increasing. Those outlets over by 97 look pretty hallowed. Can I order a hallowed ground beef burger up from that McDonalds over on Steinweher Ave. And the hallowed Boyd's Bear, those stuffed bears gave everything to protect those grounds.

Not alot of Architectural firms in Adams County with experience doing A Resort Casino. There are more high profile type projects in DC, so they have more high profile Architectural firms in DC. This is a Resort Casino with I'm sure high end Interior Finishes, It's probably a little nicer than the strip malls, Wal-Marts and Motel 6's people from the area are used to patronizing.

You worry to much about others.People will spend their money as they see fit, some, with an addictive personality(are you one?) may become addicted,if not already. This will allow them to spend less on gas to satisfy their addiction & keep their $$$$ local instead of at Charlestown. The benefit for them is less time on the highway = more time to gamble

What will Susan Star Paddock object to about the architectual firm's renderings? There will have to be something. But what, what will it be?

The purpose of every business is to make money. Just like all the shops encouraging people to spend their hard earned money on a bunch of cheap crap from China. That's how capitalism works. Got a problem with that? There's a really nice island just south of Florida you may want to check out. As for your speculation about what it will bring, your claims fly in the face of what the DA's in Pennsylvania casino host communities are reporting.

I guess this place will put Gettysburg on the map. And Yes, what happened with hiring local? No local Architect that are good enough? No local public relations firms good enough? Is Mr. LeVan still going hire all union workers? What will he tell us that we want to hear next? Sorry, but this proves his word can't be trusted. He's only going to tells us what he thinks we want to hear. We do not need or want a casino in Gettysburg. Build it in Hanover or York Springs. Gettysburg is a monument to the soldiers and their families and for all of America. Let us keep it that way.

Why are you worried about what people are doing with their money? Since when have you become a supreme being to dicate what people are allowed to spend. If people want to spend a few dollars on slots, so be it ...... You have some serious issues telling people what to do with their money. Increased Crime ? Maybe after people get pissed off by you telling them what they can and can't do.

Hallowed Ground ? Nope .... Sorry that area is not hallowed ground. Many years ago you folks whined and pissed about the Harley Store being built, you all said it was on Hallowed Ground, after Mr. LeVann spent countless dollars on research and such, it was shown that it was not on such ground. That building is really nice, well kept and maintained.

When will you understand the fact that you talk out of your A-Hole ..... I am so tired of reading about negative things.
