Cumberland Twp. woman attacked by rabid cat

A Cumberland Township woman was recently attacked by a stray cat with rabies, and the SPCA is advising residents of the Gettysburg area to be cautious of other strays that could be affected.

Dear Lord! It is getting scarier in Gettysburg all the time! Imagine going to Gettysburg forms battlefield tour day trip and having your daughter attacked by a rabid dog that is foaming at he mouth.

It reminds me of Atticus Finch, they ought to shoot the rabid animals and move on to the ignorant yokels after that.

With all the crime going on, I guess the town doesn't have the financial resources to employ animal control measures that other safe towns do.

I'm appalled the locals aren't doing more to protect visitors, this situation needs to be addressed!
Safety to all tourists should be the number one concern in Gettysburg!
