Bobby Voitek is the innocent angle his family tries to make him out to be. This guy had no job during the span of these robberies. He was making a living off of being a burglar! Since his release on bail this young man has done NOTHING to make right what his wrongs are. He purchased 2 brand new cell phones. A galaxy s3 and Iphone5 he has bought himself air Jordan sneakers and basically lived as this never happened. This guy needs to be taught a lesson and stop trying to play the victim!

He has done NOTHING to pay back or even apologize to his victims and now he is trying to yet again be selfish and get out of paying his debt to society and his victims by playing the victim card!

This guy was arrested for Robbery and release in the middle of October, Moved right back into the drug house he was living in and the first of November went right back to burglary! He made his choices and needs to do his time.

The DA made him a plea bargain and he is so selfish and self centered he feels it is too much time for him to spend in prison. He turned that deal down and is hoping to play on the heart strings of the judge to give him a lesser sentence!

This is so disgusting, why is it every time someone commits a crime these days they want to play the victim card.
I hope the judge throws the book at him for turning down the District Attorney's plea!

When this first came about. The mother, sister, friends and family of this criminal rushed onto facebook to bash the Carroll Valley police on their community facebook page.
Some of the comments the mother left were bad enough the CVPD had to remove the comments. The rest of the comments were involving how good Robert Voitek is and how is a great person and would never do anything like this.
A lot of victims and community members also posted on this page. The family and friends also chastised those people for congratulating the CVPD and hoping for swift justice.
This young mans family and friends are as much the problem as he is. To not only defend his actions and infer that the CVPD would frame him (imagine how stupid they felt a few days later when he confessed).
People need to wake up these days and stop coddling people like this, understand they do have a problem and let them get help for it.
For this young mans family to bail him out of jail on not one but 3 occasions for robbery is Ludacris ! His butt should have sat in prison.

oh yea, and the mother and friends NEVER once told the victims they were sorry there son did this or felt bad for the victims, nothing all they care about is if they can get Robert out his legal trouble.

What I would like to know is if this young man was doing drugs and burglarizing homes to feed an addiction brought on by sexual abuse, why then did he need to have fire arms with scratched off serial numbers. Was he intending to commit worse crimes? How much further would this have gone had he not be caught when he was and what exactly were his intentions of having the fire arm?
I hope the judge in this case throws the book at this young man.

I was a victim of this burglary spree. Some of the things taken from me can never be replaced even with restitution (which btw is a joke). There were pieces of family heirloom jewelry taken and pawned or sold on craigslist that can never be brought back and will never be found.
I was told by the courts that restitution is paid in $25 increments. So he will pay what ever amount he wants ( yes, he gets to decided how much to send the court) per month and then it is divided up between all of the victims, counting the victims, the insurance companies and the courts there are over 60 victims in this case. Even if this punk pays $100 a month in restitution (which is a joke btw, he won't) the victims will be lucky to get 2 checks for $25 a year. I hope they just throw him in jail for the maximum term and forget about any restitution.

With all of the theft going on locally here recently I hope that Judge George makes an example out these five people.

What they did is gross. It takes away the sense of security and safety for the victims. To not prosecute these people to the full extent of the law would be the real crime here.

We need to send a strong and clear message to Adams County that this behavior will not be tolerated in our community no matter what your previous circumstances are.

I was also a victim of this. I have no worries that these guys especially Bobby will do their fair share of time. We have pictures, facebook posts etc.. from his time out on bail one of which including a photo of Bobby with his Dad, brother and step mom wearing a shirt with a masked robber on it that reads "a crooks life". The photo was taken on New Years day of this year and was posted to Bobby's instagram and obtained through a private investigator. You see, some people wanted to make sure Mr. Voitek didn't slip through the justice system because it became very obvious from the go this was his was goal!
This information along with the photo's posted to social media have been turned over to the proper channels. He can have all the people he wants write letters in his behalf to the judge it's not going to help. In fact I'm willing to bet the Judge hands him worse than what the District Attorney was offering.
Mr. Voitek, good luck with your sentencing and remember some of your victims are watching and helped make sure that your sentence was lengthy. Your mother, sister and friends did a splendid job of also helping prove the point of your victims by letting their fingers do the talking on CVPD's facebook page.
Also Mr. Voitek keep in mind that when the trial is over this isn't done. We the victims can still take you to civil court if you aren't paying your restitution fast enough or you skip or miss a payment. You messed with the wrong people when you made the decision to enter our houses and atleast a few of those of people are committed to seeing you pay for that!

Lots of people have bad things happen to them in life. They dont turn to breaking into other peoples homes. Shame on these people and please make them serve their due time.
If there were more people like adams county victim in this country you would see much less crime. Kudos to you for following your case and making sure these guys didn't get away with this.

If you would have taken the time to read you would have noted several of us hired a private investigator who tracked this crook through his social media postings among other things since he was released on bail.
he was very stupid about posting a lot on the internet about what he was doing and such.
that is how we know so much.......
it goes to show that even when you have your socialn media locked down if you know what you're doing you can still see things the person who is posting may think no one can see.

Oh and by the way a lot of the things printed here and in the times are blatantly wrong. It makes me wonder why and how the courts can be so factually wrong about a case they are prosecuting .
I believe in the gettysburg times someone interviewed about the case stated that they didnt bobby was ring leader...
well he committed more robberies than anyone else involved and was also the only one who committed robberies with all 5 of the other crooks...
so if he isnt the ring leader who was......
I can also tell you that all of the people involved havent been arrested yet.

First of all, I personally believe you sound so foolish with throwing around your big, bad "private investigator," like he/she actually did some worthy investigating! Congrats to you & your talented P.I. for finding a picture on a social network! Nowadays, you could give a 13 year old girl $10 & she'll provide the same, OH SO SHOCKING, information you've stated your P.I. has given you. What a joke! Secondly, you're legitimately wasting your breath ridiculing the young man based on a shirt he's wearing? Just to educate you a little, the brand of the shirt you find so trivial, is called "Crooks & Castles." It's an extremely popular, mainstream clothing brand (alongside Diamond Supply, Pink Dolphin, etc.) which is sold in stores in malls like PacSun, Zumies, etc. Many young men who haven't committed a crime in their life wear that EXACT same shirt. It's a damn shirt, whether you find it childish, ignorant, or whatever, it's very petty to obsess over. It sickens me that there are several other guys involved in these crimes and you sad people spend so much time/energy gossiping about ONLY one of them? In my opinion, that says a lot about you all, because I wouldn't care to play a game of "Clue," hire a P.I., and maybe even take a trip to one of those nifty Spy stores, when still your claim of him being the "ring leader" is still a speculation since it cannot be proven. My point here is WHY DOES IT MATTER IF HE WAS THE LEADER?! Each of those gentleman committed crimes. I've heard many stories about them all and some particularly sick ones about Zachary Hunt, but being a logical person leads me to not sit on the internet, hide behind anonymous usernames, and gossip about some teenagers. I completely understand wanting to be compensated as a victim. I completely agree, but the way some of you are going about this is just distasteful and classless. All of your accusations, obsessions, judgments, etc. targeting only one of the boys is honestly comparable to bullies these days getting on the internet and demeaning someone so much to a point of no repair. None of us have any idea how those boys feel inside (some may feel sorry, some not). Make all the accusations you want, but the way you're going about this won't make you feel better at the end of all this. My prayers are with you & the other victims. May God help you find peace.

Seems like you may be somewhat present in Bobby's life?
Personally after reading your post I felt a little creeped out and puzzled by your motive to list a detailed list of Bobby's purchases.
Let's think rationally for a quick minute. I will first and foremost put it out there that this GROUP (keyword: GROUP, not just one) of boys did horrible things and my heart goes out to the victims and I completely understand their wants and needs of repayment. I also know nothing will ever be enough to make it up to these victims.
Now after that being said, the majority of people in this world today have a cell phone. Sadly, they're basically a necessity nowadays. So I personally don't see the issue with Bobby getting a cell phone after getting out of jail? Yes, he committed crimes, but who are you, who am I, who is any one else to make the decision that one of Bobby's punishments should be "no cell phone!" COME ON! And if you're going to detail the cell phones, please include what happened to each, if one broke, or if he maybe bought one used off someone or a family member/friend gets discounts (if you want to be THAT obsessive).
Also, the shoes (which weren't even Air Jordans...nice try though) could have possibly been a Christmas gift? Once again, yes he committed crimes, but obviously he has a supportive family and it's NO ONES business or place to speculate Bobby's possessions, as long as they are his.
You all are going SO far off topic. How do you think you look posting these immature, obsessive posts about his every move, picture, belonging?
Lastly, how do you KNOW and I mean 100% FACTUALLY KNOW that Bobby hasn't done anything to better himself? Because I honestly would bet you that he has made some decisions and taken some actions to put/keep himself on the path to recovery.
All of your accusations would be a lot more interesting if they were factually backed up, were focused on important things (not petty belongings), and were written in a mature way that couldn't be denied. You sound like someone obsessed with a celebrity posting about their every move, outfit, breath. CHILL OUT!
