Laskowski would bring strong leadership to board
As a resident of Germantown for more than 25 years, I strongly support Lisa Laskowski for the Germantown Board of Education.

Lisa Laskowski is a superbly qualified candidate, and it is my privilege to offer her my full and enthusiastic support. Lisa is bright, articulate and possesses a deep understanding of the community's educational needs. She is active as a classroom volunteer at Amy Bell School, and also heads the School's Dinner with the Arts fund raising event. She can be counted on to be a coalition builder and a voice of calm reason on a board that has often been hobbled by internal strife. More importantly, Laskowski can be relied upon to leave partisanship at the board room door and tend to the business at hand --the very important business of providing Germantown students with the best possible education and property ownersand with the best return on thier tax dollar.
In my view, there is no other choice for residents concerned about preserving the excellence for which the Germantown School District hss become widely known.

Lisa Laskowsk does NOT have my vote here in Germantown, WI.
"More importantly, Laskowski can be relied upon to leave partisanship at the board room door and tend to the business at hand..."
What can be more partisan than signing recall petitions.
Mz. Butz, are you aware Lisa signed recall petitions for both Alberta Darling and Scott Walker? The unions run crazy and take advantage of a privilege the tax payers of WI gave them 50 years ago.
We are rewarded by union members sitting on both sides of the negotiating table on schoolboards and cramming institutions down our throats like unions, seniority and WEAC for insurance. And Lisa would like to take us back to this?
Do you support entities that force you to become members? In WI - if you are a teacher, you are no longer forced be become a member.
Focus on events in PA Mz. Butz. You are uneducated when it comes to what is happening in GTown.

Well, for the record, sir, YOU are the uneducated and uninformed one. First, I'm not in Pennsylvania. I have lived in Germantown since 1997, and both my children attend Germantown Schools. Additionally, I am a licenced teacher in Wisconsin, a graduate of the Master of Arts in teaching program at Cardinal Stritch University. I am also a former community and governmental practitioner and former Senate staffer, specializing in educational issues.
As for Ms. Laskowski's participation in the recall elections against Walker and Darling, it was her right to to that, as those were PARTISAN races. But on the non-partisan school board, I have every confidence that her first loyalty would be to educational excellence, not to any political party of ideology.
