Is Franklin still a redneck, briary hellhole?

No it has changed dramitically for the better. Cleaner and nicer. Seems the rednecks moved out in 1995.

I had to relocate here from Springboro, couldn't afford that town. But yes, it is still a redneck town. When you drive down Shaker at 9 in the morning and see a dude with a beer gut and no shirt swilling a Busch light, well, you answer if it is still redneck or not. Take the kids to the Bistro after the game and you are for sure to witness a fight at the bar across the street. Saw a guy driving his John Deere lawn tractor up the street, had the rebel flag on the side of it....Gonna make a movie yet...

Franklin isn't too bad. There isn't a lot here to attract people to the area, but you don't have to drive far to find anything you could need.

Honestly, I've seen just as many briars in more upscale areas. Most folks here seem to be decent and hard-working.

i,was born and raised in ohio carlisle ,franklin .i live in richmond ky now to tell you the truth theres no diff erence .besides my daddy was hillbilly and im dang proud of who he was

Well if you seen a guy drinking a busch beer,it might have been me.I lived on shaker for awhile but no more.I was too redneck for ohio...

I had to just touch on this hillbilly thing.Do you know that HILLBILLYS made this country,They had no problem with prayer in school or pledge to the flag,and most of the men marry women,when its alright for a man to marry a man or a woman marry a woman I bet thier not hillbillys.
