Having received numerous phone calls since leaving employment from former customers, want to let the truth out now. This place, and the owner and several employees knew of the problem, has bedbugs. The ceilings are a wreck, water everywhere, worked to always take care of the business simply because of the employees that worked in this location needing employment. However, since new info has come to light, feel that the public should know that the load of merchandise that had said bedbugs, instead of being destroyed which is what would be the average intelligent persons response, was sent to another store in the company. In addition the mold that is growing in the building next to the former dollar general store is horrendous not to mention it has roofing issues as well. Any company that does not protect its employees and provide a safe working condition should be ran out of town. Come on Middletown you are better than this. Sexual harassment and people with physical disabilities are made fun of, I know this because I have a disability with myself, and nothing done. Owners brother made comments to me about it. This business allows people who assault others come back to work. Wow, does this sound like a responsible employer. No, we were't terminated, we left this company of our own accord. We are grateful to the people who are our friends for letting us know what is now being said about the former employees. Watch yourself when shopping there. Thanks for hearing our side of the story.

you did not have a problem when you was getting paid now you lost your job there is a problem and the problem is within your self so do some soul searching and think about what your doing and how long did you work and the owner took care of you and your family when you was down and out and with your disability

But what you do not understand Ky, is simple, I DID NOT Lose my job, I left it for better pay, more benefits which if there was one benefit at this job it would be MORE than what the owner offered, Speak upon matters that you know of not those that you think you know!!!! And the owner did not take care of me and my family, I worked for me and my family! So again speak upon matters that you know to be facts, before you write on topics that you know nothing of! Furthermore willing to bet you are among those employees whom still think you matter to the owner! NEWSFLASH you don't!

that place is the worst store i have ever been in in my life,there are dead rats everwhere and the roof is leaking all over,and as for the manager there Todd ASHWORTH,HE IS A CHICKEN SHIT BASTARD!he will cheat you every chance he gets like the owner does,there laminant flooring is all bad and they are still selling it along with hard wood flooring,i would'nt go there if it was free.to everyone out there you best stay away from there unless you like getting fucked!!!!!!!!!!

Well I had a bad experience at the one i n Dayton Ohio. Rude owner. Watched all black people as if we were thieves. Also closed store at anytime of day . no structure or consistency. Would drive for miles to buy home repair items and they would close the doors early with no explanation or apology. I attempted to challenge this early closing issue and both the security guard along with store owner tried to fight me.
