Republicons and their shills in the right-wing media bubble love to complain about food stamps,'welfare queens', and the rest of our safety net programs, but are strangely quiet about the real welfare queens-- the big corporations on government welfare.

The following is from a link on the Ron Paul website:

"About $59 billion is spent on traditional social welfare programs.$92 billion is spent on corporate subsidies. So, the government spent 50% more on corporate welfare than it did on food stamps and housing assistance in 2006."

http://thinkbynumbers.org/government-spending...

These figures are NOT including things like no-bid contracts, which Haliburton received during the Iraq War, NOR do they include corporations over-charging the Pentagon, NOR do they include tax breaks for offshoring, and so on.

Most of the pigs at the government trough are among the biggest companies in America, including the Big 3 automakers, Boeing, Archer Daniels Midland, and now-bankrupt Enron.

The Waltons, owners of Walmart, are among the very richest people in the world. And they're huge welfare queens.

"Wal-Mart receives hundreds of millions of dollars of subsidization by local governments throughout the country. These subsidies take the form of bribes by local politicians trying to convince Wal-Mart to come to their town with the dream of significant job creation. Of course, from that follows a larger tax base.

For example, a distribution center in Macclenny, Florida received $9 million in government subsidies in the form of free land, government-funded recruitment and training of employees, targeted tax breaks, and housing subsidies for employees allowing them to be paid significantly lower wages.

A study by Good Jobs First found that 244 Wal-Marts around the country had received over $1 billion in government favors."

And you righties, HYPNOTIZED by hate-raido, by Fox, and by the rightwing blogoshere, continue to rant on about free enterprise, and decry class warfare from the dems.

So you hate your neighbor down the street who may be a layed-off teacher needing foodstamps to survive, while you adulate the Waltons and other super-rich and super-greedy welfare queens feasting at the public trough.

About $59 billion is spent on traditional social welfare programs.$92 billion is spent on corporate subsidies. So, the government spent 50% more on corporate welfare than it did on food stamps and housing assistance in 2006."
The difference is corporations are productive whereas social programs are not.

If corporations are as productive as you claim they are then why are they collecting welfare in the first place...?

Wow, you really told me! I'm way scared now! What should I do? Hey gramps, leave politics to the young people, yall fkd it up enough already and we are fixing it, slowly but surely. Step one: put an American born, true citizen in the white house one month from tonight. January 20, 2013 we take out the trash and start over. Nice ;)

And also what the ignorant left winged fail to realize is that the consumer DOES benefit from these so called "big business welfare programs" with lower prices for the products that they produce.

But for some reason the ignorant left winged truly does like to bite the hand that feeds them (Businesses) and they like to coddle the ones who devour and constantly take...(Government)

Just more proof that the left winged is/are everything that is wrong with this nation.'Stupidity running rampant'

Moronic liberals think the rich and business dont adjust prices according to a set profit margin.......

They dont under stand that a 10 percent tax on all businesses ads more than 15% to everything they buy.......

They say rich people like the Waltons should pay 10 percent more in taxes and then they wonder why everything at Walmart cost 15% more.....

And for the few that do figure out that collecting 10% more in taxes cost them 15% more think it is a good thing..........LOL

Ummm. nObama has done nothing about these questionable facts and figures that you present.......why?

In the meantime, the amount Americans on food stamps has gone to nearly 50 million......middle class incomes have shrunk by 10%($5k per year), unemployment has remained at historic highs while millions have simply dropped out of the unemployment numbers, health insurance has gone up 20% for middle America under obamacare, and fuel prices have doubled.....all under nObama's rule..........and you complain about rich folks who continue to get richer? Nobama has been pres. for FOUR YEARS!!!!

Geez, who side is nObama on?

The price of fuel is a perfect example of dumb liberal thinking.
Environmental rules and chaos in the mid east have pushed the price of oil to dangerous levels. In the meantime, the government continues to make nearly 20% on a gallon of gas while the oil companies are lucky to do all of the work and make 10%.

as the price of gas goes up, government make even more money(sales tax), while Americans pay this horrible economically expensive back door tax. If the average guy spent $300 per month on gas, nObama policies have cost him and extra $3,600 per year. Add that to a near $5000 drop in middle class earnings under nObama, the extra cost of nObamacare, and the middle class has lost $10,000 (25%) in purchasing power under nObama rule.
And then the liberal loons wonder why the economy continues to struggle?
Duh

And the same exact thing happens every time the idiots cry and scream to raise the minimum wage!
And then the minimum wages go up to a point that employers WILL NOT hire inexperienced workers at these HIGH wages, and once again the mental disorder known as liberalism screws everyone!
It is beyond amazing how truly stupid these things that call themselves progressives are!!! They phuq everything up!

Wait until Mitt is in office and then they will hate it......
